Was doing great, started organizing pig-men to fight off the hordes of spiders, realized I ran out of food, started searching everywhere for a carrot, or berries
nope. Died in the dead of night because I couldn't eat anything. Poor Wilson.

why play the game if you're just going to ignore it's one rule

farms son, especially turbo farms. they make veggies like it was going out of style


also fishing, that nets you frog legs and fish

The first time I tried fishing the pond ate my fishing pole.

I spawned on a map with two of those resurrection tablet things right next to each other. I don't think that's supposed to happen.
Didn't do me any good. Dogs ate me a live twice in a row

When I got attacked by dogs, I whacked a beehive once and then kept running.

The bees killed them for me.

I'm doing really well this playthrough. Day 14,
Have a good base camp up and running. Got a farm, got a steady source of steaks, got a nice beard, two medallion things, a Resurrection slab, and lots of armor, and an ice staff. I was able to take out the hounds with ease the last time they attacked me. BRING IT ON WINTER.

Berry bushes totally ruin the food-survival system, assuming you keep a supply of manure on hand.

being a vegan seems to be the way to go until winter

berries are just

too good of a food source

they are during the warm months but disaster can strike pretty easy if you arent careful. or if you are just unlucky

if you have a bunch of em, you have a greater chance of getting gobbles. or multiple ones (the turkeys) whos sole job is to eat all the berries in teh area

lighting strikes can decimate a forest, let alone berry patchs, plus if a red hound dies near them

also berries dont seem to last long, even in an icebox. its best to use them to make other dishs asap. like meatballs

the lightning problem is solved with a lightning rod

and you eat berries constantly because it does take a few

but yea its random if you get a veggie or a fruit. dont eat durians alone they are not good for you.
