Your gums should only bleed when either the dentist fucks up, which shouldn't happen, or when you're not brushing right and then go to said dentist who does it right.

Speaking of which, I had my last dentist appointment today and apparently my teeth were in great condition, much better than when I started having regular appointments almost two years ago. My diet of sugar hasn't really changed but I brush my teeth well and often and chew lots of gum which has helped the situation a lot.

My last dentist apointment was pretty funny. I was getting a cleaning and the lady who was doing it told me if my gums bled it wasn't her fault, it was because I didn't brush my teeth well enough. I dind't say anything or do anything to make her say this, she just brought it up out of the blue.
And surely enough, my gums didn't bleed whatsoever during the whole process, even though she seemed to be a bit rough and it did kind of hurt.

Gums are a lot more durable than you might think, so long as they're getting brushed regularly. They can take a bit of roughness.

went into the bathroom today to find someone shat all over the toilet seat

whoever did it made no attempt to clean it or wash it off

someone bodaciously sat too far back on the toilet, shat, noticed it all over the seat and just left it

and i know someone noticed that they did it because they put the fucking seat up to hid the evidence
