If I remember correctly, theres no risk in being summoned. You don't lose anything for dying as a white phantom accept maybe liquid humanities.

No, you don't lose anything. Not even soft humanity. You get sent back to the bonfire you last rested at though.

So being summoned to fight bosses over and over is a good way to earn souls right?

Man.... Fuck the Crystal Cave. I can't even deal with all these invisible walkways right now.

Warp back to firelink and buy prism stones and cheap arrows from the female undead merchant in the aquaduct.
You can shoot in front of you to see if you can step there and throw prism stones to check if falls will kill you.

When I was there, someone was nice to mark the entire path with messages.

I memorized the path to reach the boss room in the Crystal Caves.

Now reaching the Blue Titanite Slab, that killed me lots of times.

I really don't like the crystal caves just because that one crystal pillar makes you slide when you try to get onto the platform.
Also i just found out you can farm humanity from the painting guardians so try that, Galaxy.

the guys in the rafters and on the floor below, the way you needed to go to get the big giant spinny elevator.
Turn the spinny elevator down the lowest it can go, then rest at the Darkmoon Tomb bonfire, then go back up into the room below the rafters/the room with the entrance to the painted world.
Then kill painting guardians until you absorb some humanity from them.

Don't go in the painting until you think you're ready. The boss isn't all that hard, you can actually choose to walk past her without anything happening, but the mobs are a pain in the booty.

Egg zombies, wheel skeletons, FUCKING HARPIES, oozes, and an undead dragon.

An NPC darkwraith invades you too, and once you kill him you can pick up this beautiful thing. at the end of the level (you need to die or quit and reload or rest at a bonfire for it to show up)
