All the same, Naomi shouldn't have revealed herself to you, and you shouldn't have had a dialogue with a living player in the mafia game when you were alive yourself.

With her identity compromised like that, Supaaku needed to fix it, just in case.

And I don't exactly see how we're being paranoid. If screencapping and chatting through PMs about roles was allowed in the game, we'd have figured almost everything out quickly.

But anyways, you're dead, so let's get back on track with the game after all of the excitement.

Anyone else have any leads? With Reyo not really being with the mafia, it'd be hard for them to coordinate votes or ideas, so we can't get too far on just votes.

After all, even if Reyo voted, he could have very well implicated mafia for all he know.

This is why I hoped he was actual mafia.

I didn't get to see the posts but that does seem a bit overkill. Did Reyo actually show he was talking to Naomi, or was it just the screenshots of Supaaku telling Reyo that he was visited?

Also, D-Vid's right; why isn't Grey Fox dead? I was about to point out that if Kamak's theory on Grey Fox being hooked checks out, then Kamak is now the most suspicious, as Reyo really was visited by the Doctor so Kamak's got to be lying about all these visits, but really, why would they keep trying to kill either of them if they know who Grey Fox is?

I think what's most likely to be the case is that both Grey Fox and the Mafia are out trying to kill, and they both really are failing to get any hits. We know for a fact that one of them's had difficulty killing Reyo, and the other must be going for someone else and Kamak's the only one that's stepped to the plate so far.

I think the only way to verify Kamak's story is to wait until tonight, and see if Otacon gives someone different an item. If Kamak is Otacon and is telling the truth, then he should continue to give himself items since (if his story is right) the mafia is still out to get him. If he's lying though, I see no reason for the "real" Otacon to continue feeding an imposter, since impersonating Otacon has mafia written all over it.

I think he's telling the truth or else someone who has really gotten something would have spoken up. Same with Reyo. There's no hurt in saying it so the absence of counters would implicate they both told the truth.
Now the question remains, does the one getting saved by the doctor always get a message or only if someone tries to kill them? And if always, is it different if he got actually saved or not? Because it would have been a very obvious sign to mafia if he said he got saved from death when he wasn't actually attacked, and also that way managed to get Naomi to not save anyone else.

I'm going to say that giraffe's suggestion for how I prove my innocence seems a bit fishy when we have a hooker running around.

I can easily see being conveniently stopped from making an item and have that used against me as proof to eliminate me from the game, just so mafia doesn't have to kill me personally.

At any rate, my likeliness to be hooked and killed tonight is high now that we know mafia hasn't been hooking grey fox. I'm hoping perhaps that the new Naomi might assist me.

Actually Kamak, if Ocelot prevented you from making an item for someone else, that would prove your innocence. It would just look like you saved yourself again (which is entirely reasonable given your circumstances) or that you were hooked (which would prove that the mafia's out to get you). If you're not the real Otacon though, then the "real" Otacon should have no problems giving someone else an item. The only real backfiring that could happen there is if the mafia was able to guess who the "real" Otacon is in time, and either kill him or prevent him from making that item, but that would still show up as you being innocent and make things confusing later in the game.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you should have nothing to lose here if you just go about your normal business, unless the mafia can simultaneously hook and kill you before you can make yourself more stealth camo.

As a side note, if Grey Fox isn't being hooked, does that mean someone else is? I think someone mentioned being tortured earlier in the game but I don't remember who...

Torturing is the same as hooking, right? So that night Grey Fox couldn't have been hooked. Totally forgot about that. Does that change something?

I think they might try to kill me that way tonight, so Naomi might be useful to save me.

Meanwhile, Grey Fox will be able to go out and kill again.

I'll gladly stay mafia bait if it means we can weed them out quickly.

And sorry if I seem a bit jumpy on people. With how easily people took down Snake, I'm expecting mafia to gun for a lynch, especially after missing me twice.

Yeah it was Night 4. And still nobody died. What does that mean? Did Mafia just not kill anyone? Or did they really try killing Reyo for the 3rd time in a row while Grey Fox tried to kill Kamak?

Kamak, if you're Otacon, do you need Naomi's saving? Shouldn't you be able to make yourself stealth camo beforehand? Or does that have to be made at least a night before?

I can make and use one the same night if I'm not hooked.

If I'm hooked and attacked, I'm done for.

If that can happen I'm sorry you had to reveal yourself. Let's hope the new Naomi reads these posts and makes good judgement.

Moving things along though, what's everyone thinking to do with this day? I feel like we should lynch someone, since we saw how little progress we would have made had Kamak not taken the shot, but I still don't feel confident in going after Lotharu, or really anyone for that matter. My two cents is that we take a closer look at people that have popped in to vote or tell us they won't vote and haven't said much else besides that, but if anyone has any better ideas I'm all ears.

Also Kamak I'm thinking about the Otacon-proving plan again, and I'm seeing something that could be compromising. A mafia member could easily say "hey Otacon gave me a weapon last night" in an attempt to turn us on you, though then again if you are really Otacon and we found that out through a lynch we'd be able to spot mafia and most likely more patterns leading to more mafia. So in the end it'd be a stupid countermeasure on their part, but one that could set us back our gunsmith.

So what I'm saying is that the idea I had to prove your role wouldn't be as definite as I originally thought, depending on who the hypothetical "real" Otacon gives the item to.

I can't really name anyone off the top of my head who has been really inactive--besides me, I mean (and I apologize for that, I was having internet problems for a couple of days). I'm with the Giraffe in saying that there's no one I feel super confident in being suspicious of, so I don't want to implicate anyone and risk hitting a townie.
