Best part for me from a visuals standpoint was fighting in the Japanese garden. So fucking Kill Bill.

The art direction in that area was wonderful. For me the Rooftop Japanese Gardens are tied with the badlands highway where you fight Sam..

Also
"Try not to be seen"
Immediately walks into room full of disembodied eyes
Yeah, this game has a sorta fucked-up sense of humor.

Yeah, that part was pretty creepy and black-comedy-hilarious at the same time.

You want a hint?

EMP Grenades are your friend in this fight.

Yeah I had to look that one up.
It was easier once I figured that bit out.

Oh Metal Gear.

People Who Beat This Game: is there a chapter selector at the end, or do you have to NG+ for rankings?

It doesn't matter because you won't beat it.
Also yes I looked it up.

Day 3 of final boss.

Yeah, that was a nice Easter Egg
"There's My Boy"-Kevin Washington, True Man

Also I remember somebody saying that the Sundowner fight had a more annoying gimmick the Monsoon fight, But I Acually liked fighting Sundowner because at least he didn't have a "Parry Or Die" attack like Monsoon, Although I could never manage to Zandatsu his shield. Also the "Final Strike" against him was ridiculous.

Monsoon has a instant death move? Which one is it?

He doesn't, but the red-phosphorus-grenade-blitz-bru-ha-haa goes on for long enough that if you mess up early in the attack and lose your grove, half your health is going to drain. I also just didn't like half of his attacks: they came out fast and most of them were really long combos you had to block every hit of very rapidly.

The closest thing to instant death is the giant junkyard table saw move he uses after you beat him for a little while. I think only the final boss has an instant death move but I'm not sure.
As for Sundowner, that gimmicky shield wasn't that bad, if you run behind him he drops it, and if he's going to do the shield bash just use your backstep slash to dodge it.

Monsoon was actually my favorite battle besides Sam, which was just too No More Heroes for me not to love, but I didn't find any of them to be particularly difficult on normal mode besides the final boss, of course. Though on hard mode I did have a bit of trouble with Sundowner, mostly because of the shield.

There really isn't any point to dealing with the shield at all outside of rankings (Cutting it properly counts as a Zandatsu). You can just run behind him. The only real issue I had was with the Helicopter, Because I didn't think to shoot it down (You can do this).

This changes everything. Again!

I love watching people slowly figure out this game's system. I remember when people figured out that Blade Mode Canceling was a thing and everyone got all excited. I guess this is what the Bayonetta community was like when that game was new.
