It either means you were being protected from an oncoming attack, or jsut that you had the doctor visiting you and any attack on you may have faced would be averted. I'm gonna guess the latter.

Not sure what to say about that...same reason why I didn't respond against the lynch votes against me on Day 2. I honestly thought Dzelda would have been scum, but y'know, shit happens. I'm not sure how I can prove my innocence, but you've got my word. My word means a lot too, because I'm a wizard, and wizards never lie (except when they do).

See, that's where my suspicion comes from. Your first reaction is not even to say "okay, here's why I said this, this was my reasoning", but to pretend as though nothing happened. If I was "not sure what to say", I'd be a hell of a lot more inclined to say upfront "I'm not sure what to say" instead of completely ignoring any accusations.

Also, your lightheartedness, especially here now that you're trying to prove your innocence, feels forced, and not in a way like Dzelda's. Whereas Dzelda tried to play "loose cannon, cat faces everywhere", he/she still responded to events with vague sincerity. You, on the other hand, feel like you're hiding behind jokes, and saying "i can't be lying, i'm a wizard" feels like cheap misdirection.

Well, there's not anyway to prove my innocence really, so I like to make light of the situation. I can totally see why you think I should be lynched, and I honestly can't think of a way to help myself in the situation. I could pull the "you'll regret it" crap, but I'm innocent so that goes without saying.

I think we should still analyze who else voted for Dzelda, and possibly the people that voted for me, and see if we can come up with some sort of list of suspects. I think Lotharu might belong on that list, but I'm not casting any votes yet. He pulled the "you're too defensive" card like me, and he voted simply because the day was taking too long. It shouldn't be that easy to cast a vote unless you're positive someone is guilty, or if you're guilty and you know they're not one of you. He gave her "one more chance to defend" but that may have been to make himself seem less suspicious. I'm still not sure about him, just throwing my thoughts out there.

Okay, I can atrest to my innocence here by reminding that bensons whole argument against dzeldlalacantspellonphone was saying that she was suspicious by playing the game. I didn't originally say Dzelda was suspicious for playing the game, my initial reason for voting for her was because we needed a lynch and she was the only person we had any type of lead on. The fact that she was acting "too defensive" in my opinion, just made her look a bit more suspicious than what she was originally.

Excuse the poor conveyance but I meant playing th game as in defending herself. You have to be defensive in this game, its common sense. I'm just trying to point out that you're the most suspicious right now and you're the best best for a mafia hit.

I knew what you meant. I know I'm the best bet right now, but I'd really like to not get taken out (like everyone). I'm not Mafia, but if that's what you think, then I'm probably going to have a hard time trying to dissuade you.

Chopstix does have a point though. I mentioned that point yesterday as well, there shouldn't be such a thing as "too defensive" in a game like this, especially since not being defensive, or even talking at all is cause for suspicion in it of itself.

I guess that's where we see things differently. I think that by writing three paragraphs that basically say the same thing over and over, then you're trying too hard to prove your innocence.

On a scale of how suspicious defenses look, it goes:

No defense
Light defense with inconsistent logic
A lot of defense with inconsistent logic
Light defense with logic
A lot of defense with logic

This is just me though. I agreed that dzelda was suspicious, but more in what she was saying. She fit more on the 3rd point where she said a lot, but it didn't make much sense. The general tred though is that more defense is usually better than just a little bit for defense, with no defense at all being "aw shit what you doing?"

I usually vote to end days if the day is taking too long and I have no actual leads, voting for whoever is closest to lynching (Unless I can say, for 100%, that that person is innocent)

Honestly so far right now I don't really see anyone as too suspicious, I was only going through the older pages and noticed the whole ignoring votes against you.

I guess that makes sense.

I'm gonna wait until some sort of evidence comes up before making any votes. I'm also gonna try and think of a way to defend myself in case there are further accusations toward me. I hope I never have to go to court...I'm horrible at this stuff. Oh wait, courts have defense attorneys...guess I need to buy me on for this then.

Personally, all I can think of is to say "anyone on the list of who voted for dzelda" which is a whole 7 people long, and I don't really have too many leads over (aside from you granny. I'm sorry, but you've been the only one of the 7 to have accusations against you). I'm not going to point anything at anybody at this point because I want to hear what other people, preferably whoever is on that list of 7, have to say about everything. Given the circumstances, that "what to say" is probably going to be in relation to your suspicion (again, I'm sorry, but that's what happens when the guy you suspect ends up being a townie).

Anyway, typical early game uncertainty shenanigans...
