Not terribly familiar with old-EU Thrawn myself (yet). I'm kind of liking him so far in this, but I think it's pretty dumb that he keeps letting our heroes get away. I'm sure he's up to something, but there are times when he clearly could have killed them and saved the Empire a lot of pain in the long run.
Also glad that Maul's back. Was hoping we'd see more of him after his kick-booty story arc in Clone Wars.
