Watching Van Helsing.

This movie is like 90% face-stretching extreme screaming.

Been complaining about the X-men franchise for a while now and had been avoiding first class because of it.

Finally sat down and watched it. Because I had psyched myself up, telling myself it can't be that bad.... It was worse than I expected.

I was just cringing almost the entire time.

saw Jurassic Park yesterday. Celebrated it by listening to Jurassic 5 all day.
It translates to 3d really well and is waaaay more immersive than a 20 year old movie has any right to be.

Pretentious film students laughed when I said it was my favorite movie. Fuck them.

dued, the 3d actually works. For the first time ever, the 3d doesn't seem like a comepletly tacked on gimmick and actually adds something to the movie.

I don't doubt that, but I've got a lazy eye that bodaciously keeps me from seeing 3D films properly.

Besides, you could just not put on the glasses and watch the movie.

The 3D parallax is never noticeable enough without the glasses to hamper your enjoyment at all.

If it's in IMAX 3D, they don't even use the glasses.

I don't think they do, anyway.

Tron sure was. I took off the glasses after a bit and the whole screen was noticeably blurry.

Peter and the other folks might die but:

I HOPE THEY START THE SILMARILLION MOVIES RIGHT AFTER THEY FINISH THE HOBBIT.

It takes too long.

Are you kidding me? How can you even look at that screen without getting a headache.
