I just saw the trailer for Puns: The Movie (cloudy with a chance of meatballs 2.)

It looks terrible.

I've never been more excited for a movie!

My ex loves the fucking thing, she wouldnt shut up about it for weeks. Its mediocre, not horrible, but not good either.

It also has zero reasons for a sequel. They escape the island and it ends with it having been a story told all along. That's how it ends.

They don't need to go back to Jurassic Park and see how the food is all alive now.

I really hope that's not the plot.

But if they made it like Jurassic Park 3, I might just have to watch it and laugh/cry.

So it looks like Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Symbionic Titan) is directing that Popeye movie that's scheduled for 2014. Hopefully after that Sony will set him free of the CGI films and let him do some of his original projects like the deal said. I would pay maximum dollars for a series or a 2D animated movie with little-to-no executives fucking up good things.
