Watching Stargate for the hundredth time. Just hearing the music makes me sick with nostalgia for the TV show.

Stargate is one of the best things to ever happen to Sci-Fi. I still feel bad about what happened to Universe.

Maybe with a little more Daniel Jackson it could've been saved. The new cast didnt really do much for me.

Gangster Squad was awesome.

Comparisons to The Untouchables are inevitable, but the setting was fresh and vibrant and Mickey Cohen was a different kind of menace altogether. When I saw how much love Giovanni Ribisi's character was getting, I knew he was gonna be killed at some point. Also, the trailers lied regarding Ryan Gosling's importance to the plot.

Watching Buried on Netflix right now. The amount that Reynold's character is using a zippo lighter while buried underground is making it hard for me to take him seriously.

Also, half of the people he calls are dense as fuck.

"Hi, yes, this is Paul Conroy I was ambushed."
"Yes?"
"I'm buried in a box."
"In a box?
"Yes, in a box, they put me here."
"Who?"
"I don't know, the men who ambushed me!"
"The men who ambushed you?"
"YES! The Iraqis, I don't know!"
"And you're an American?"

Jesus fuck lady...

EDIT: OH! Turns out the good people at Washington knew about the whole "buried in the box" bit for a good while, they were just being dense for no good reason.

And he knows the zippo uses oxygen, yet he uses it anyway. This is why we can't have nice things.

Just saw the endingwhich was super depressing. This was a bad idea to watch in the morning.

Hollywood chemistry, the rate at which fire consumes oxygen leads it to become too thin to survive exactly when it would be most dramatic to and I've lost track of the grammar structure here so piss on it.

Eli Wallace and Sgt. Greer were the heroes we deserved. Anything played by Robert Carlyle is amazing by default.

Got around to seeing Dredd finally, it was pretty daisies good, I enjoyed it.

Though Olivia Thirlby is too daisies adorable to be taken seriously as a death dealing Judge.

I wasn't as impressed with The Cloud Atlas as I imagined I'd be.
