... I'm pretty sure everyone knows Superman's origin by now. Mainly because he's had multiple movies and a TV series about his teenage years.

The Incredible Hulk movie skipped the origin for a few flash backs and got straight to him being on the run.

I heard that it was written in a way that doesn't contradict the other Hulk movie (that failed) but could stand alone without it.

Since hulk had a TV series there's a lot people people who knew hulk was hit by radiation and it mutated him so that he changes when he gets angry.

Point is not everyone comic book movie (reboot or not) needs an origin story.

Also on a related topic... I hope they've stopped making X-men movies.

Nope. The next First Class movie is already under way, I think.

First Class was pretty good though. They're also making another wolverine film, though it doesn't appear to be connected to the last one.

edit: X-Men sequel is called days of future past. They talked about opening the movie with a shot of magneto killing jfk with a controlled bullet. There was no shooter!

There was no bullet because magneto pulled it back out.

Maybe it's because I was into X-men... more likely it's because I'm an old fuddy duddy... I'm really disappointed with the X-men franchise.

X-Men: Days of Future Past is actually one of the best stories they ever did in the comics. The cover has been homaged a gazillion times.

The comic story was set in 2013.

The movie is set to be released in 2014.

Days of future past is one of their major story lines. One that would define the X-men from then on. That's why the movie had better get it right.

I don't know, I actually liked First Class. Looking back, I'd even go so far as to say that it was one of the better X-men movies. It focused more on the mutant powers and the issues with building a team of angst, super powered teenagers. We learned how everyone connected to each other instead of just "Here's people...GO!" Plus, the entire storyline is awfully fallout esque, with the whole "cold war commie versus 'merican versus mutant!" deal.

When the music popped up on my Pandora, I then remembered that the music was also pretty bitchen.

Saw Hunger. Pretty harrowing movie to watch.
