I don't know, I liked Wreck-It Ralph, but it wasn't super great.

The first half was fantastic, I was the only one in the theater who was all out cracking up at the references, but I feel like it lost a lot of momentum around halfway through, like right around when Ralph got the first medal and it kind of dragged on until more towards the end

That short though, man

I couldn't even handle it.

did anyone else say 'superman' to themselves really softly? Iron Giant style?

Guilty as charged.

That was one of the most fulfilling movies I've seen. I know Avengers was one of the most awesome films ever, but Wreck It Ralph has those things that made it awesome from start to finish.
I swear though, someone at disney read Kid Radd. So many similarities. Image

Fun Fact: It's actually being called Sugar Rush in Japan, hence the J-Pop.

And were they riffing on Other M with Calhoun's backstory?

So I may have found some nice quality Paperman wallpapers. I found 3, but I'm only using 2 because the third is a still of the guy sitting at his desk looking all sad and that's really not what I need to be looking at while I'm staring at homework being all sad.

Did anyone else get Felix's jab at Mario?

"That's probably Mario. Fashionably late per 'ush"

Took me 3 hours after seeing the movie to get the joke

Watching a movie called "Awakenings" with Robin Williams as an introverted neurologist who treats patients who are believed to be catatonic but turn out to be at least partially conscious and trapped in immobile bodies. It's based on the true story of Oliver Sacks discovering beneficial uses of L-Dopa in treating his catatonic patients. It's got some really powerful moments, and the only reason I didn't start crying outright was the fact that this movie was being played in the high school class I'm observing.

So I just got back from watching Wreck-It-Ralph and IT WAS REALLY GOOD

LIKE SERIOUSLY

Like, every other second I was absolutely cracking up at all the little-in jokes. Every time I and my friend saw a Street Fighter character we fist-pumped and cheered. (quietly, as to be polite, haha)

I think one of the coolest parts about it was the logic behind Vanillope's glitch. At first I called BS on her inability to leave the game and the dangers of the game being unplugged, but then I realized: glitches are temporary. They show up in your game and screw around a bit, but when you reset they all disappear. GENIUS

And I nearly screamed when I heard Owl City singing in the credits song.

....And then I did scream when I found out Ryu was voiced by Kyle Hebert. Holy shit, did that throw me in for a loop. I promised myself to never fangirl too hard, but the unexpectedness of it caught me way off guard.

And Roger Craig Smith came back for Sonic.

I seem to be the only person out of my circle of pals whose favorite character is Felix.

And also when King Candy took out the napkin with the Konami CodeI did a little girlish giggle

Smith is the voice actor for Sonic now. Sega likes consistency, in terms of how Sonic is portrayed in the media. If he has a voice, in anything, Smith is gonna be the VA.

REPRISED. Whatever you wanna call it. Kyle was Ryu in Street Fighter X Tekken and he was in Wreck It Ralph. Jeez, you know what I meant.
