I also find it a bit strange that Paprika made almost perfect sense to me despite everyone else's reactions to not understanding it at all (at least on the first watch). Does that make me a crazy person?

Iunno, I should probably watch it, but my only copy is on a PSP UMD. D'oh well, didn't stop me from Akira or the Cowboy Bebop Movie.

IBO was dull and disappointing in my opinion. I won't be sticking around for s2. I honestly think Sunrise needs to lay off the Gundam for a bit, we've had a series nearly each season since Build Fighters.

On the other hand Macross Delta is pretty daisies fun so far, even if the wait for subs is tedious.

I just watched all of One Punch Man in one go.

It was awesome.

I started watching Boku no Hero Academy. Pretty fun.

I'm catching up on Assassination Classroom. I love the show, but the amount of 20/30-somethings that are bodaciously masters at everything forever is getting a bit too high.

Started watching Overlord. It's somewhat an interesting premise, but it leans a bit too much toward self-insert powerwank sometimes. Hope they explore the morality aspect more in later episodes.

Been reading Zatch/Gash Bell. Surprisingly good. Action based with a fair share of feels thrown in.
Actual emotional and behavioral development in the main character too, though the change seems pretty quick. The anime is much MUCH campier and lighter in tone.

Edit: Finished it. Manly tears were shed.

But seriously this entire series, anime and manga, is one of my favorites in ages. From the first Texas Smash to the end of the manga's current arc with the United States of Smash, I've been in love with it.

Finished MAR, was a pretty good action series, though the characters' personalities were kinda forgettable.
The concept was neat too.

I enjoyed it, but I do understand the complaints about pacing I've been reading in places. The season is over but I don't really feel like all that much happened? Or rather, it sort of feels like there wasn't the payoff I'd been expecting.

I've been watching Kill La Kill on Netflix

It's pretty good, I like when Mako goes apeshit with the explanations

I haven't been reading the manga, but I glanced through to reference what the anime was showing
Seems like at this pace, it'd be like four more seasons to catch up to where the manga is now
Still, it's been fun

On a different note, I got a friend of mine to watch Ergo Proxy and she's been enjoying it immensely. I was wondering what I should get her to watch next. She hasn't watched all that much, mostly super mainstream stuff like Sword Art Online. Ghost In The Shell seems like it would be the most similar but I haven't actually gotten around to watching that myself yet.
