I really don't like the romance aspects of the show. I would be content with having Finn and Jake hopping universes and out adventuring for a whole season rather than go back to Ooo after a 2-parter and ending up with more Flame Princess and Princess Bubblegum stuff.

what if finn and jake travel the multiverse, recruiting a team of finns and jake from different points in time and space to defeat the lich?

I think the romance is being handled ok, it's not really overshadowing anything, but it's not really going anywhere either. I kinda like Flame Princess, even though I'm sure it's not going to end with those two together. PB kinda of annoys me for some reason I can't quite place.

Anyways, since I only recently saw 'You Made Me' I decided to make this, because it was practically my first thought while watching:

I think that if the romance is pretty much not going anywhere, then they should focus more on the adventure aspect of the show. Have Bubblegum cook up some sweet inventions for Finn and Jake to use and have Flame Princess lend a hand in a fight every once in a while, along with Marceline. Put the crushes and romances more in the background rather than have them be the crux of entire episodes.

Man, I remember watching this all the way back in 2007 on Youtube, waiting for it to become a show.

And it finally did a few years ago.

Fun fact, that's the same Finn, he just got older. Jake is the same too, but it's obvious.

I actually watched that the other day and thought "Man, have they come a long way".

This is great. An official japanese dub. Finn is voiced by Romi Park, who does the voice for Edward Elric.

Wow, the pilot is pretty much exactly like the actual show in terms of atmosphere and dialogue and stuff. The only real difference is the animation and small facts like names or what someone sounds like.

I am expecting Japan to have an utter shitstorm over Rainicorn speaking Korean.

In the original short aired on Nickelodeon, Finn is voiced by Zack Shada. In the main series on Cartoon Network, Finn is voiced by Jeremy Shada.

They replaces him with his brothers because Zack's voice had changed too much for their purposes.

It's cool that they got the brother to do it though. It's like what they did with Tails in Sonic, right?

A lot of the voice acting seems to be done by family members of other voice actors. Like Marceline's dad is her real dad and I think young PB was her little sister?
Also Finn is aging with his voice actor so that is pretty cool.

I love how the show actually has chronology.

Like, Finn actually gets older yearly, and its not like "Whoops doops birthmas episode" But no, he actually has a birthday that they mention and follow.

It's also cool because they get to keep voice actors as they get older with the show, and don't completely change the cast every year or so.
