Looks like Ashley might finally be introducing Murkoph, a roleplaying character she has used in the past and whom appears occasionally on her DeviantArt page.

I figured Duane was sort of based on him, so he was most likely a revenant spellcaster. Two of those in the same story might get boring so who knows what he'll be like in the comic.

That makes sense. He also has a knife in each of those pics so he may be some kind of thief or assassin. Maybe one that dabbled a bit too much in pymary given his current situation.

Maybe he fucked around too much and got himself stuck in the Khert.
