aight fucks here we go
My first review of the new season.
Now you better strap down your fucking ballsacks and tie your shoelaces because the japanimation that I'm about to lay down on you is so intense you might die.
I'm not joking when I say that this is the best anime ever produced, in fact I can say with the confidence of a white rhino that this is the best piece of media ever created.
Teekyuu
"Like I Fucking Know"
To put it shortly Teekyuu is about tennis, but that would be like saying Citizen Kane is about whales or Moby Dick is about a sled. It goes so much deeper than smacking balls around. Teekyuu will smack your soul around and put backspin on your consciousness.
Here watch for yourself
Immediately the incredible animation leaps out of the screen as if it were a live throbbing member. It makes Akira look like a slideshow. It makes Evanjellyon look like a cave painting.
Is the opening haunting your soul yet? Composed by dying saints and sung by pure bred sirens it delicately wraps itself around your mind like a cobra made of silk, worming it's way into your brain to uncover your darkest secrets.
As always this episode raises many important issues, socially and philosophically, I'd go into detail but you wouldn't understand 'cause you're dumb.
This episode blew me away, like daisies, fuck Holmes man when you've got mysteries like this it's all you need.
So there it is, Teekyuu is better than you and anything you have accomplished.

This just in I'm a big liar and I'm totally doing more of these
First, a quick summary of the shows that started and ended while I was away:
Nothing was good.
Right now that's over we can start with the new shows of the season.
First up:
Shingeki no Kyojin
"Attack on Titan"
Shengeki no Kyojin is a manga chronicling the life and badventures of whiny guy Eren Jaeger, his not-his-sister Mikasa and all round dork Armin Somethingorother. Set in a world where humanity is beset by lumbering disproportionate giants that love to snack on dudes, they are forced to hole up behind big booty 50m high walls and cower in fear of their american overlords- I mean titan oppressors.
But one day when the wall is broken
bad thing happen
I've read the manga and recommend it, it's very good though the art is hella wonky most of the time. The author is very good at making it expressive but sometimes arms are about as half as long as they should be. It's pretty gory so if you have a vore phobia i'd stay away, if you have a vore fetish then congratulations you've struck gold.
But we're not here to talk about books because those are for nerds
The anime adaption is a big budget thing by cool guy studio Production I.G, famous for making anime that aren't awful. They've gone for striking thick lines around the characters and it looks hella tight. The animation quality so far is a step above everything else currently airing, though there are some still panning shots with speed lines.
But when you have scenes like this and you're bitching about a few stills you haven't got much ground.
The music is interesting, lots of orchestrated choir stuff with electric sounds mixed in depending on the scene
The OP is rad as fuck
The ED is rad too except for that bit at the end of Eren walking like some kind of weird puppet
Shingekji no Kyojin should shape up to be a really good show. The manga has a large likeable cast that I advise you don't get attached to 'cause they'll all die horribly. The two episodes that are out so far only deal with horrible things happening but the next few will have some lighthearted moments.

what anime is gud episode 23
on this episode no anime is good and I didn't watch it cause it was boring and I played video games instead/watched Tatami Galaxy again
anime I watched a little but stopped because whatever
suisei no gargantia all the characters are retarded and I don't care for them or the things that happen to their big dumb hippie ship (chamber is a qt though)
shinkooki no kyojo oh wait I did this but I stopped watching it for whatever reason, probs cause I read the manga so it stopped being interesting to me or something
oreimo S2 m8 this was fuckin tripe holy shit not even an angel like ayase could save it
Hataraku Maou-Sama this was actually bretty good, got bogged down by the boring overreaching plot I didn't give two shits about. It's about a demon lord from another dimension who gets defeated and escaped to our world and loses his powers and has to work at McDonalds, give it a try it's pretty funny.
Valvrave no whatever lol valvrave
shows what I actually enjoyed
Aiura
Aiura is about simple events in the daily lives of a group of high school girls.
But wait there's more!
Oh, no there isn't that's it.
Aiura is a series of 5 minutes shorts (3-ish minutes of OP and ED lol) with some nice animation in places and lovely backgrounds. It's clearly on a shoestring budget and possibly made by interns or something but it has a lot of charm with it's great sense of humour and fresh no name voice actors.
The OP is great but is seemingly completely unrelated to the show since it's about crabs and steve jobs, I guess one of the characters likes crabs and the jobs connection is obvious
the show I actually enjoyed that wasn't a short
Red Data Girl
Rrrrrred Data Gril is the story of Izumiko Suzuhara, a dorky shrine child who is a total loser lmao who is scared of people because she lives on a mountain and breaks all the electronics she tries to use (Like my grandma ahaha am I right or what)
Despite her problems she wants to stop being such a faggot scrub and decides to get good by going to highschool in the city. Izumiko is a pretty important lass so tasked with protecting her is Sagara Miyuki, a boy of her age in training to be a monk (The RPG kind where they wreck shit except more japanese). Against his will Miyuki is forced to go to the same highschool as Izumiko who is a dork so he's rustled about that.
It turns out Izumiko is important because she's the vessel of the Himegami, a crazy goddess who will eventually destroy the human race.
The story is about Izumiko dealing with being a goddess and her relationship with Miyuki as they attend their new school which is apparently spiritual ninja buddhist hogwarts in japan.
Red Data Girl is the second show by PA works to use designs by the mighty and all powerful golden deity Mel Kishida
As usually PA Works provide wonderful backgrounds that look nice even in the shitty webrips I watched (They aired the show 3 eps ahead of TV online in shite quality (The fact that I watched the shitty rips goes to show how good the show is since the b don't settle for less))
The show may feel quite slow and won't be a lot of people's thing, personally I found the first episode really intriguing while some people claimed to have fallen asleep. A lot of japanese myth and religious concepts are brought up and it can be a bit bewildering since as foreigners we aren't so wised up on stuff that I imagine is somewhat common knowledge in japan. (Maybe it isn't idk)
What sells the show for me is the characters, PA Works are all about well done development. Tari Tari had the best character development of last year as far as I remember, even if the show was kind of anticlimactic and a font of misplaced potential. (If only it had Hanasaku Iroha's length :'()
RDG is pretty shoujo in premise, a dorky girl has a cool guy thrust into her life, the guy acts like a jerk and she fallsSHUT YOUR MOUTH
Miyuki totally acts like a jerk to Izumiko, you might dislike him for it at first but you'll soon see that it's a perfectly realistic reaction to their situation. He's not some cardboard cool guy cut out, around other people he laughs and is a normal highschooler but he's cold to Izumiko because this blabbering crybaby has been forced into his life and now he has to babysit her. (Also she might destroy the world lol) Point is Miyuki is a well made character with more substance than just his relationship to the heroine. Their relationship is another strong point though, obviously he doesn't hate her forever but I'm not gonna go into something you can simply see for yourself.
There are also other interesting relationships like possibly incestuous triplets (One of them is ghost though) and Izumiko's own development as she struggles to become a stronger person and also not destroy the human race.
The music is TIGHT LIKE WOAH I CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF THE ENDING SONG
AND THEY USE IT AS AN INSTRUMENTAL ALL THE TIME IT'S PERRRRRFECT
MASUMI IIIIIIIIIIIITO
THIS IS THE ALTERNATE VERSION BY SAORI HAYAMIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (WHO IS IZUMIKO'S VOICE ACTRESS)
anyway it's a pretty good show
there was this funny thing where some newspaper in Reading (A city in england, pronounced Redding ;) ) got super butthurt because their twitter tag of #rdg got taken over by japs tweeting about Red Data Girl, so this show was front page news in some shitty paper
