I've been reading more of Black Butler lately, and it's actually getting pretty interesting?

Finally finished the Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches anime. It hit the main points decently for a 12 episode adaptation and hada lot of the charm of the manga, but I feel like I'm left wanting a bit more. It was a shame that a lot of the nuance and pacing for Noa's episode was ruined, leaving her feeling like less of a threat than she was presented in the series. The final arc was good, but I feel like some of the big twists were gone through so quickly they lost impact because you didn't feel like the characters had time to respond. I'm also a bit sad they cut Yamada walking Odagiri home and her yelling at him never to give up on Shiraishi because it was a good scene and something he had needed to hear from her at the time. Overall, just little things missing, fast pace, and some of the charm being gone made the series feel a bit more bland than it was as a manga read. It's still worth watching if you can't dedicate the time to the manga, but the manga is so much more charming and you're going to love the characters and what they go through a lot more.

On that note, read the goddamn manga if you haven't already. It's really good and cute and there's cute boys and girls doing cute things and lots of smooching between said guys and girls.

Good god there are so many naked people in this anime.

Last two so this isn't too long.

If you like shenanigans, ragtag bunches of kids wandering through the desert, cheesy 70's mech design, and 4th wall breaking, Xabungle is the show for you.

The 2012 Jojo anime is, if I'm not mistaken, 100% faithful to the manga. I'm pretty sure they didn't change or edit anything at all.

They cut a couple of flavour scenes and added some stuff for continuity/ fanservice's sake, but otherwise it's a very faithful adaptation.
Also part 4 is greato da ze~

After a conversation with Kamak about animes and mangas and stuff, I have added some titles to my list of media I need to see. And I'm rereading Ao no Exorcist. Been a couple years since I was up to date.

Splatoon has made me start watching Squid Girl.

It's inkredible.

I watched Toradora again after a couple years since I first watched it. I'm usually the type to enjoy anime filled with action and drama like Gurren Lagann or Samurai Champloo, but Toradora is one of my favorites despite that. I'm a bit of a sap for romantic anime, it seems.

Hang on a second.

Did Yu-Gi-Oh GX continue after Jaden fused his spirit with Yubel's? Because that's what I'm gathering from what I know of Bonds Beyond Time. (Haven't seen it, though.)

I assumed not, since the 4kids dub ended and went on to 5Ds a few months later.

Yes. There was this actually awesome arc about some Truman asshole bodaciously making people disappear from forced duels.
I remember one non-spoilery but awesome moment where someone is checking out a list of Kaiba Corp employees only to find that every name was disappearing in real time as they lost....except for Kaiba's.
