I kinda just got into Monster Musume...and I really like it. I kind of powered through what I could find of the manga in about a single night just to be ready for the anime.

Anime suggestions? I've watched a couple, but I want to get more into the genre. So far I'm planning on watching Dragonball, Gurren Lagann, Soul Eater, Death Note, Cowboy Bebop, maybe Fairy Tail....?

Any other notable ones I should look at?

Preferably not the Magical Girl Princess Nii-chan High School Adventure Desu stuff.

In my personal opinion Bakuman is a pretty important anime to watch if you want if you want to get into manga/anime. It just shows so much what goes into the back end of manga creation and is by the manga-ka of Death Note

Sounds like you're already off to a good start. Try Samurai Champloo or Space Dandy if you like Cowboy Bebop, and Mobile Suit Gundam or Patlabor if you like Gurren Lagann. You should also watch Jojo's Bizarre Adventure cuz it's the best.

If you want good Magical Girl stuff, Princess Tutu and Cardcaptor Sakura are always sure bets. I'd recommend the first one even if you're not a fan of magical girls.

Trigun is perhaps slightly less "must watch" than most of those, but still very good. Don't know if you saw Kill la Kill during its heydey or not but it's along the lines of Gurren Lagann-esque ridiculousness.

As someone who is current with D.Gray Man, and is enjoying Berserk, this is good news

Also I recommend the Berserk anime English dub bloopers if you want a cheap laugh

Subs or dubs? Main one I'm hopefully catching up on soon is the new Yamada-kun and the 7 witches anime, but there's no dub yet. It's really fun and the characters are good and it's great and I love it, even if the manga has more breathing room.

It's also only 12 episodes so far so it's not a huge commitment.
