Continuing to read Shaman King. I'm on volume 5 now. Why is this manga so good?

Also, latest chapter of My Hero Academia was really great. Best Jeanist is a pretty cool hero. I bet Tetsuya Nomura will love him. I also like the pace at which Deku's training has been going. He's already got the idea of how he should properly use his powers and the revelation coming from putting taiyaki in a microwave is hilarious.

Shaman King is one of my favorite manga, I cant wait to see if your one of the people who loves the ending or hates it.
I hated it when I first read it cause i was reading along with the releases and I kinda felt betrayed, but after coming back and rereading it I realized it really did make a better story.

I love the fact that reason Deku couldnt "use" his powers is because he was trying to "use" it

Just finished the Berserk anime. I didn't realize that it only covered the first manga arc, so that made me a little irritated. I don't mind reading the manga, but apparently it's also not finished? Ugh, guess that's another thing I'll have to hope I don't die in some freak accident or something so I can finish it.

Also, I tried watching the movies, but 5 minutes into the first one and I just couldn't handle the weird semi-real animation style.

Also, I recently finished Kill La Kill after some friends talked me into watching it. I normally hate fanservice, but I liked how it was kinda tongue in cheek and not really fan servicey, so I enjoyed the show.

EDIT: Also, I'm open to recommendations for what to watch next. I'll watch any genre besides slice of life. I'd prefer it to be a series that's finished, but I'll watch an unfinished one if you can pitch it well enough.

So far I've watched:
DBZ
Yu Yu Hakusho
Hellsing Ultimate (thought the whole Nazi thing was kinda dumb, but enjoyed it regardless)
Higarashi no whatever the rest of the name was + kai
Like half of Deadman Wonderland. Need to finish it, but don't feel like it right now.
Berserk
Kill La Kill
Hajime No Ippo
Cowboy Bebop
Trigun
FMA
FMA:Brotherhood
Detroit Metal City
Cromartie High School
Rurouni Kenshin
And a few others that I can't think of right now.

You'd probably like Samurai Champloo if you haven't watched it already.

I remember staying up all night once watching all 3 of the new Berserk movies. I was not alright afterwards. Especially because I had an exam at noon that day, which I managed to earn a respectable grade on.

Okay, so Dragonball Super premieres tomorrow, Sunday the 5th, and apparently absolutely nobody has managed to pick up the simulcast rights. Not Crunchyroll, not Funimation.... Is Toei just sitting on the distribution rights right now or something? It would be nice to watch the show legally somewhere.

Whenever someone wants a new show I will always suggest Irresponsible Captain Tylor. You will not regret it.

here are some outtakes from the animes voice acting recordings.
Grifiths voice actor is amazing.

As for recommendations:
If your into fantasy Tears to Tiara is great. It has a very loose tie into The Sword in the Stone. It was my first anime that wasnt a "saturday morning cartoon" so I'm a bit biased. If nothing else the intro song itself is worth at least watching the first episode.

Air Gear is great if your into comedy as the main hero is a complete asshole. (The manga takes it even further to the point i was rooting for the villain in the final battle.)

I see Rurouni Kenshin is on your list so you may like Buso Renkin by the same manga-ka. Its a bit more shonen stereotyped than Kenshin but the world it is set in is really interesting.

You have a few horror anime on there so you may like Tokyo Ghoul which is the new hotness. That does mean the anime is still running, but the first season that follows the manga is complete. The second season branches off from the manga is still running.

I actually started it and got about 10 episodes in once, but then my internet got shut off for a few months, so I couldn't finish it, and I didn't feel like rewatching it to remember what happened. I probably will watch it next.

It seems pretty interesting. I like space stuff a lot. Which reminds me that I need to watch Outlaw Star as well. I'll watch Irresponsible Captain Taylor after Samurai Champloo.

I lost it when he started singing the song from the Little Mermaid.

The intro for Tears to Tiara is pretty nice. I'll at least give it a chance sometime.

I've also been meaning to watch Air Gear, but keep forgetting about it. I need to make an actual list, but then I know I would just add a ton of stuff and never watch any of it.

I've never heard of Buso Renkin, but I'll give it a chance as well.

As for Tokyo Ghoul, me and my friends have actually been planning to watch it together, but we just haven't gotten around to getting together to do that.

Ok, so I guess this will be my list order for now:
Samurai Champloo
Irresponsible Captain Taylor/Tears for Tiara (depends on whether I'm in a fantasy or space mood at the time)
Air Gear
Buso Renkin
And Tokyo Ghoul whenever we get around to it.

Thanks for the suggestions guys!

I started watching that on Hulu the other day and it's amazing. It's like Inspector Gadget if it were an old sci-fi anime.

When I recommend old sci-fi anime i recommend Space Trains
Its trains, in space! Its even worse more exciting than it sounds. It has Sexroids and the teams leader is named Captain Bulge.
Yeah thats right CAPTAIN BULGE. We get to hear the crew yell the name Captain Bulge every time a serious incident occurs.

Thoughts about Dragon Ball Super?

It could still go any which way, but I'm skeptical about their ability to do anything actually interesting with where the source material left off.
