Any one care to recommend any other tear-jerker animes after I've finished Clannad?

I'll have a look at it afterwards, I gave Kill la Kill a chance, don't see why I shouldn't give Witchblade a chance too. :p

Also I just got to the ending of Episode 7 of Clannad. The feels are starting up.
I won't be posting any spoilers on the anime I watch, just what I felt at certain episodes.

I also like how Sunohara is the punching bag (Or should I say Kicking?) for slapstick humour.

Sure all of the fight scenes have scantily clad woman covered in "white blood".
But it has an extremely heart-touching story, to be honest if it wasnt for its graphics i think Witchblade would have really blown up, but because of the fanservice no one wants to give it a chance.

I'm only at episode 14 of Clannad and tearing up. And people tell me it gets even more emotional in the after story?

...Will I survive? ;~;

Appropriately when I posted this, my Avatar became this:

I finished watching Clannad.
IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL!

The music, the story, the characters. I regret not watching it earlier.
I'm planning to watch Anohana next, and Witchblade afterwards. Since Anohana has 11 episodes and Witchblade has 24.

But, oh man. "The palm of a tiny hand." That music track from Clannad. I love it so much right now.
I used to skip the Dango song to get on with the next episode, I didn't know how much that little song would matter.

Dio's World sounds like the name of a little kids' show. "It's The World of Dio and Friends, every weekday morning!"

In other news, I've been watching Slayers on Hulu. I miss the style of 90s anime. Things like Ranma 1/2, YuYu Hakusho and the like. The character designs all had a certain similar aesthetic to them that I find incredibly charming.

Has anyone on here ever seen the anime K, AKA K Project? It was recently added to Netflix so I decided to watch it. I really liked the animation style it had and the subtle art cues present in most scenes. The plot was really good and I hear there are books that provide backstory for some of the side characters that never got their time to shine in the anime.

NO BLOOD, NO BONE, NO ASHES!
Im a huge fan of the K Project, though im not sure whether or not I can reccomend the side stories, though theyre amazing they are not updated regularly and the wait is killer. Of the 4-5 side stories the only completed one is Memory of Red, which I suggest reading, but waiting a while before starting the others.

I'm not gonna lie, I started hearing the Elmo's world theme when that showed up in the preview.

I love when an anime tries to have a character appear that speaks another language, but they don't hire anyone experienced with the language. An American character speaking with a heavy Japanese accent doesn't really make sense. Immersion is kinda ruined when it happens, but I find it funny. I read that Germans had trouble even understanding anyone during the Silver King's German flashback.

I watch sub. The English in K wasn't bad, in fact I'd say it did an alright job with it. I was just speaking in general. As for the German part, I'm only repeating what I've read off of other sites since I don't know any German.
Also, I just finished season 1 of Tokyo Ghoul. I'm enjoying it so far, but it's definitely not a good anime to watch while eating like I usually do.

Regarding the previous chapter of My Hero Academia, I thought it was an excellent way to end the tournament. One pep talk by the main character should not be enough to erase literal years of serious psychological baggage, and I liked that Bakugou was denied a super triumphant victory just because it's nice to see him getting taken down a peg. I mean, Bakugou isn't an outright jackass, since he does acknowledge powerful opponents, like in his fight with Uraraka, but it's still nice to see him not get the ultimate victory over max-power Todoroki like he wanted.

The newest chapter was fantastic. I'm really glad they didn't do the whole "Villains wreck the tournament" cliché.

Uraraka's parents are awesome! I absolutely love it when a work of fiction actually gives a character two parents that are genuinely kind and supportive. Speaking of, Deku's dad still hasn't appeared yet. It would be nice to see him, maybe a teleconference call if he's the traveling businessman type. Todoroki is off to see his mother at a mental hospital to deal with some of the stuff he experienced when he was younger, it seems. Todoroki also has support in the form of his older sister, Fuyumi, it seems. Glad to know that he has at least one person in his family with no issues.
