Hellsing has come up in group talk a bit, its looking like that or Berserk If when Higurashi gets vetoed.
I'm actually abridging Higurashi at it is waay to long for this group to enjoy. Im basically skipping part 3 and 5 of Season 1 so there's only 15 episodes.

Deadman Wonderland is a pretty cool manga but the show never really hit the mark for me.

Boku no Pico it is.

But seriously, thanks for all the recommendations, we'll watch some trailers.

Don't watch the Gyo anime, it's not very good.

The group actually enjoyed Higurashi.

The one skeptical guy asked if it has a satisfying ending. I couldn't even remember anything that wasn't:
The Needle in the food
Shion killing everyone
The Knife at the Roxbury
Mion shaking the ladder
THE FUCKING FINGERNAIL REMOVER
Rika being a witch with a spooky ghost friend
the tie in to Umineko

Also all the death killing

If we don't like the ending we'll just watch the OVAs.

We also watched Mononoke(my personal favorite movie).I have 7 Mononoke shirts.7
It was one of the groups first time watching, and she loved it.

I have noticed that whenever I put the name of a country into google, it auto completes to "<country name> Hetalia".

Does it know that I watch the series or has the fandom managed to bump the result up that hard?

It probably knows you watch the series. Google likes to cater results based on what you've previously searched for and viewed. Have you searched for anything related to the series before, or watched any Youtube videos related to it?

Not only that, they can actually track any site you've ever visited on that IP that has google ads enabled (which is most of them), or through cookies. And they tie your IPs to your google account of course.

Both The Gamer and The Breaker are going on hiatus and its killing me.
The Gamer is only on break til the end of june, but the mangaka (manwha-ka? whats the term for a manwha author?) for The Breaker basically said they would be back in a year or two :o

New chapter of My Hero Academia.

The villain, Stain, looks straight out of the 90s. Hell, his name makes him sound like he's from there as well!! I'm absolutely loving this series.

I am absolutely devoid of any anime series that can draw me in at the moment, after coming to the conclusion that Kurogane no Linebarrels is terrible.

Joh I give you two choices from my personal favorites pool.

The Irresponsible Captain Tylor

or

Gun X Sword

Pick just one, but you wont regret either.

Well I guess I should get started in this thread.
I haven't watched that much anime. I've watched various seasons of Ash Ketchum and his Electric Mouse that doesn't want to go into it's capsule.
Also watched Lucky Star, Azumanga Daioh, Nichijou, Kill la Kill and both Higurashi/Umineko No Naku Koro Ni.
I've also watched some Studio Ghibli anime, Spirited Away, Ponyo, Laputa. Need to watch more of those.

Right now I looked up for a sad anime. the first one that seems to be mentioned is Clannad, & it's After Story. So I'll be getting on that right now.
Any one care to recommend any other tear-jerker animes after I've finished Clannad?

P.S. I'm not one for fanservice. I'm fine if it's there sometimes or just for jokes but shameless constant fanservice usually puts me off.
