New Hero Academia is up.
Uraraka is actually pretty cool. I'm glad she didn't turn out like Sakura from Naruto.
She got her booty kicked, but she made Splosionman look like a shit so I'm pop flyin' with this outcome.

Protip: This is how you pronounce Uraraka.

Eh, I wouldn't say it makes him look like a shit. In the fight Bakugou shows he's learning. He faked his right hook to make an explosion with his left so he knows to mix it up, and he was definitely cautious about Uraraka's Quirk. It also helps that his Quirk is perfectly geared towards keeping people away. As well, this chapter reinforces the fact that Bakugou's Quirk is incredibly powerful.

Horikoshi's pacing of this manga is excellent. Despite the fact that each fight has lasted 2 chapters at most so far, with this one lasting 1, they don't feel rushed.

Also, the characters in the stands are cool. It's nice to know that some Quirks can make you a SKELETON.

Read some Bleach again. I'm a bit confused why the guy named after what Jewish people call god named his elite bodyguards bodaciously the SS.

In part 4, something just happened that made me go "How Bizarre!" for the first time since part 2. So, tell me... IS THIS GUY REALLY AN ALIEN?!

At this point I'm just assuming that Kubo's stretching for inspiration in whatever nooks and crannies he can manage in pretty much every regard.

It's never clarified. Which makes it just more bizarre.

Last month I watched a lot of Yowamushi Pedal. It was pretty good. They're about to start the big competition they've been training for and I'm interested to see how it goes. Usually not a fan of sports anime, but the characters are entertaining and that's what's keeping my interest.

Part 4 done, I'm just glad none of the heroes died, I mean in Part 1 and 2 you had Dire and Messina's partner die for no reason, just showing us the Worf effect without the "Worf is strong" part, and in part 3 everyone we loved just started dropping. I mean I guess Shigechi died but he was kind of an booty. And I guess Jotaro had enough time on his bizarre adventure to write his thesis.
Now to find somewhere to read part 5 in english.

I hate myself sometimes for being so curious about this or that anime/manga that I go look up information about them and accidentally spoil myself on them. I've spoiled a lot of big plot points for myself like that.
