Zeta Gundam ends with he main character as a vegetable and most of the cast either dead or disgraced, or in Quattro's case, both.
ZZ picks up right after with wacky space adventures starring a lovable bunch of street urchins. Giant robots occasionally show up, but the show is lighthearted and the villians aren't treated as a threat. The second half goes full Gundam tho, and the series ends with one of the more memorable climaxes in Gundam.

Good luck getting past those zany hijinks tho.

Watching through the movie trilogy where they abridge/skip over some things, it's decent.

One of the stranger ones I've watched is robotech, but that one is really three properties pasted together for localization. As a result, the plot is just jumbled and odd. The robots are cool though.

Do that for Mobile Suit Gundam, please don't for Zeta. The added animation bits are neat, but also very out of place with the rest of it, and it lacks some parts that make the show more enjoyable.

Real talk, up until the second half, ZZ has more in common with Looney Tunes than most Gundam series. It's still worth checking out, but there's a reason it's not included in the big trilogy of Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta Gundam, and Char's Counterattack.

Fun fact all anime has alot in common with Looney Toons, anime is based of Walt Disneys animation

This actually makes me want to see them do an Anime themed episode.

I've seen a neat gif of the mom by the person who drew that, but... I can't show it here.

Just started a new manga called Puchimasu. Fair warning, there's an abundant amount of cute appeal. It is, however, exceedingly silly so I kinda like it.

Upon looking into it, it's apparently based on a rather moe series of games and anime. The 4kama manga seems to be more devoted to straight-up nonsense, though, so whatever.

I've been seeing these water boilers everywhere in anime these days and now I want one.

So Sloth and I decided to finally watch the entirety of Samurai Champloo as our next project, and holy shit, it's like watching a DnD game set in not-quite-Edo, douchey and impractical PCs and all.
