So I'm not sure this is entirely related, but I watched Jontron reacts to Kill La Kill Episode 16 and Episode 21

I now do not want to watch Kill La Kill.

Kill la Kill is really, really good though. I was kinda like 'ehhhhh' to it was well when I saw Ryuko's artwork, but it's an amazing sit.

It started off with a decent premise, but around 1/2 or 2/3 through it kind of took a different, much worse direction. It was just disappointing to me.

It was nice. Something of a 7/10 I suppose. Bonus episode was disappointing. I wasn't comfortable with some parts of the show. It was a bunch of fun though. Still can't beat Inferno Cop.

(have yet to watch the bonus episode because lazy) Some of the fanservice is a bit much at times, episode 2 sticks out to me, but I just ignored it after a while. Saw it as more of a joke than trying to be sexy. Helps that Ryuko isn't exactly that pop flyin' with her outfit at the start.

I give it like an 8.5/9 out of 10. I just really like the show.

Man, trying to read Ravages of Time makes my head hurt. It's always, "What just happened? Did he kill somebody just then?" and "Who's that again? Are they new?" and "Oh shit, they plotted for the enemy's counter-plot!" and "Is that how people talk? I haven't understood anything that's been said this whole chapter despite it being translated."

Boku no Hero Academia is a supermassive hit. The first tankobon released in Japan has sold a shitload. I hope it gets localized by Viz sometime soon, I want to support Kohei with all my might.

I very much want to actually buy Boku No Hero Academia. It deserves my cold hard cash.

My guess is that they want to wait until it has a few more chapters under its belt, maybe wait until volume 2 of the manga comes out in Japan and see how it sells, ensure that its success isn't just a massive fluke. Kohei has already had 2 failed manga, so Viz may be erring on the cautious side.

I remember buying the first few volumes of Air Gear years ago and never being able to find the rest. I loved the idea behind Air Trek, where it takes the freedom of skating/blading/etc. to the extreme with being able to fly all over the place. I just did some searching and it looks like there are some omnibuses. I may look into buying those so I can actually read the series in full.

There are so many movies on that list that I've been meaning to watch but haven't had the time. -sigh-

I did finally get a chance to watch the first part of the persona 3 movie. Boy, the main character (Yuki Makoto is the name they went with) is a ball of joy. Seriously though, he's depressing to listen to. However, no Aigis in this part 0/10.

I've noticed several English dub voice actors have also written episodes and adapted scripts. Liam O'Brien adapted scripts for GUNxSWORD, and most notably Steve Blum wrote a ton of episodes for Saban's Digimon Tamers massive rewrite/dub. I guess when you've worked in the industry for a while, you pick stuff up.
