He doesn't really care for the actual plot or story, he just wants rad giant robot fights. So far he's seen G Gundam and Gurren Lagann and tried Gundam 00 but was bored.

I just don't want him to turn into one of those kids that thinks Eva's the greatest shit ever.

Tell him to watch Gundam Unicorn and hope he can see through the backstory and love the awesome gundam fightan.

I recently watched Space Battleship Yamato 2199 so I'd recommend him that is he wouldn't mind spaceships over mecha, unless it needs to be in english, then you'd need the 1970s version/release Starblazers

If your brother is young enough he'd probably enjoy some of the Zoids series too

If he wants awesome robot fights then G Gundam is your answer. All giant robots, all silly, all fights.

I can't believe I'm actually picking up Naruto Shippuuden. Why the fuck am I doing this. Almost 400 episodes of the most shonen shit imaginable. Somehow /v/ made it seem like a good idea with its occasional Naruto threads.

We'll see if I ever make it through the first few episodes.

I guess I should give the series some props, it must be doing something right for me to still remember all these characters from years ago.

A fair amount of the characters actually use interesting ninja techniques and have neat character designs. Too bad they're all just used to fire off massive flashy attacks instead of actual sneaky ninja shit.

Tell him "The 08th MS Team" has full-on anime tiddies in it.
