Or, hey, a police box that's bigger on the inside that is also a time traveling spaceship inhabited by a 1,200 year old bowtie wearing alien

This series is built upon mounds of weird shit. There's some less weird shit all the way at the bottom, but still.

Also the next episode is the last episode with the Ponds.

Why do you dislike the Ponds? I think that they were great companions.

They weren't bad at all. I like that we got companions that lasted for more than one season. That's nice.

Rose Tyler was there there for more than one season. I'm pretty sure that the Ponds will pop up here or there as well.

In doctor who, rose sees into the light of the TARDIS and goes Bad Wolf

In homestuck, rose is the Seer of Light and goes grimdark

So this weeks episode was... Well, it wasn't terribly exciting and got resolved pretty easily. But since it was focused on the ponds rather than adventure that was cool. It was enjoyable. And a little disheartening to know they are going after all that.

My theory for part of how next episode is going to go down:
An Angel is going to get the TARDIS and grow huge. Then time stuff happen to send it back in time and it loops as the Statue of Liberty forever.

Major spoilers/speculation for Saturday's episode:
Prerelease photos show Amy sitting by herself looking extremely sad with the TARDIS nearby. Also, Moffat said that someone WILL die. Rory might ACTUALLY die this time. He probably will. Yeah, he will.

I'm just looking forward to seeing the Weeping Angels again.

Giggling baby Angels for scariest thing ever. ;-;
Smiling regular angel was creepy as fuck, too.

I laughed at "Husband, run." and "Husband, shut up."

Oh my god, THE TEARS THEY KEEP COMING

For some reason, with the death (technically life?) of the Williams, this felt like the end of the show. That's it, Doctor Who is over. that sort of feeling.

I hope Oswin is just as easy to get attached to.

A good Moffat episode? I never thought I'd see it again.

Though, Couldn't the Doctor still communicate with them by sending letters in the post like Doc Brown did? Saying not to deliver them until date X, and them doing the same, telling them not to deliver the letters until the 40s or something?

I don't think any other episode of Doctor Who has ever brought me so close to tears.

The whole "Statue of liberty is a Weeping Angel" thing is still stupid and silly, though.

Ha ha, it's funny because people bitch constantly about series 6.

Went to Neil Gaiman's award presentation at George Mason University last night. He answered a couple questions on Doctor Who.
* If you could travel with any Doctor, who?
The second Doctor.
* Did you expect the line, "Hello, Doctor," to be so heartbreaking?
No, he thought it would be an amusing joke.

Those are all the Doctor Who related questions I can recall him answering.

That was an excellent send-off.

Rory lived to be 82
Amy lived to be 87
she still watched him die
