Fuck Hunter x Hunter.

What's it about even? I'd heard about it a while ago on here cuz it got popular but I never knew the first thing about it

Originally it was about a boy trying to join an elite group of mercenary-types who held special privileges in that world's universe. Hunters could do a number of things ranging from bodyguard, chef, treasure hunter, etc. Said Hunters are able to wield a form of magic called Nen, which gives them their abilities and is what makes them so respected.

Now? I have no fucking clue what it's about anymore. I thought it ended actually.

Episode 135 was just too much to handle emotionally, even though I knew what would happen. Madhouse is doing a spectacular job with the anime.

Gon became a hunter to find his dad, so when he passed the Hunter Exam he went off to find his dad Ging. So now it's kinda of an adventure to find Ging, and of course there are story arcs and plots and stuff they're currently going through. I mean, it's an action adventure series so there's exploring and bad guys to hit.

Edit: Also last episode of No Game No Life comes out today. I hope we get a season 2.

It better get a second season, I haven't been invested in a new anime for a very long time.

Man, the end of Battle Tendency was pretty hype. I really preferred Battle Tendency to Phantom Blood in general, the tone was more fun and Joseph was a more enjoyable protagonist then Jonathan to me.

News from 5 days ago, but Stardust Crusaders is getting a dub. This is either good news or the worst thing ever, depending on your point of view.

I finished both seasons of Ghost in the Shell and it was nothing short of amazing. Luckily I've got all of the movies left, they should fill the void to some degree.

Black Bullet was pretty darn good.
I didn't like the "Absolute evil overcomes evil" bs line that you know who spouted at the end before leaving, kinda soured things a bit.

I don't have much else to comment on about NGE based on these couple first episodes, but damn these 90's anime tropes. I couldn't be more pop flyin' they went away.

Man Tokyo Ghoul is great. I'm looking foreward to it.
I also suggest watching Akame Ga Kill, I haven't yet but I'm following the manga.

I'm reading Berserk and I'm at like, volume 14 now.
Casca is absolutely ridiculous, she's been getting the shaft figuratively and bodaciously this entire time. Then she up and forget everything and kind of goes crazy. I mean I can't blame her after all of that but is super pisses me off.

Black Bullet is kinda irritating, to be honest. It's a neat concept, but it'd be nice if Rentaro weren't just a cookie cutter Shounen protagonist. Episodes 3-4 are on the verge of pissing me off outright.

We beat the Gastrea but we won't retrieve the case immediately because we need to make time for FRIENDSHIP. We beat the mad masked guy but we won't go after the actual mission objective yet because we haven't done anything about FRIENDSHIP. Time to fire the gun, but I'm gonna have an emotional breakdown for no particular reason but it's okay we're gonna hit the target anyway because MOTHER FUCKIN' FRIENDSHIP.

I'm aware that the whole "action rangers squad"-sy storytelling is popular in Japan but it gets really annoying sometimes.
