The Man Who Was Thursday is superlative and you would be doing yourself an immense favour by finding a paperback somewhere. It's exceedingly difficult for a book to pull of a sense of excitement in motion, but there's something so daisies thrilling about it. There's nearly a melodious quality in how it just jumps from scene to scene, from chases down countless winding alleys, to interrogations and disguises by Scotland yard secret police, to a tense sword fight in a field next to a set of train tracks where an anarchist marquis must be prevented from boarding the last coach to Paris at all costs. Hell, I enjoyed it so much I'm close to trying my hand at a script adaptation. It's not long, it's easy to read, it's funny, dramatic, and just fantastic. Buy it. Buy it now.

I was thinking of dropping into the Discworld books. Terry Pratchet seems to have a fucking seriously engaging writing style, regardless of contentalzheimers

I wanted to read about the Hounds of Tindalos, but then I found out it's not a Lovecraft story so it's not in the collection of his stories that I've got. Am sad.

I haven't read a book in over two years or so, I have no idea where to start and what would interest me anymore. Help. I plan on getting a Kindle Paperwhite for Christmas to encourage me to read more so once I get that getting books will be pretty easy.

You should try the Mistborn trilogy and the first part of the sequel trilogy after that called 'the Alloy of Law'. It's all kinds of good.

I finished Mockingjay. The bit after Katniss' depression seemed kinda rushed, though

Have you guys heard of Malazan Book of The Fallen? It's like A Song of Ice and Fire except with magic and it's way fucking nerdier.

A lot of classics can be gotten as free ebooks so you're bound to find something you like. Gutenberg is the best.

I baught a graphic novel called Kill Shakespeare in an effort to cheer myself up.

I actully met the creators of the book, and one of the artists attended the same highschool as I do.

Finished The Shadow Over Innsmouth, and was pleasantly surprised at the ending.

When I say "pleasantly"...
