I decided to go to the bookstore today and Attack on Titan volumes 4, 5, and 6 to add to my collection of the first three.

After I got back home I decided to check the publisher (Kodansha Comics)'s iPhone app but it sucks booty. I'll have to get the rest of the volumes by ordering them online, it looks like.

EDIT: Actually I checked further and it looks like Volume 6 is actually the latest volume; Amazon is just taking preorders for volumes 7 and above.

I just found the anime version of Hiromu Arakawa's newest series, Silver Sppon. It's a slice of life series about farming. I know that Arakawa grew up on a dairy farm and probably wanted to take a break and write what she knows or stop writing action manga completely, but it's a pretty huge shift of genre from her previous series (FMA and Hero Tales) that its rather jarring.

Hunter x Hunter 95: Kalluto and Feitan get all the animation cheddar for the week, Bonolenov shows how uncool his powers are when not animated properly

I was gunna watch Hinter x Haunter but I didn't know which version to watch?

Does it have full metal alchemist syndrome where the two version are completely different?

Has anyone watched Fairy Tail? My roommate watches it, and it seems okay.

One Punch-Man is the finest action manga I've ever had the pleasure of reading. This is some tight art.

Nah, the old anime covers less of the story and is generally regarded as only "alright", the new one changes some minor stuff to give it better pacing and really goes all out on the big moments (even though these are few and far between, you get one every, say, ten episodes or so). The new one also has some slight censoring in the first twenty or so episodes, but the censoring eases up later on. I'd recommend the new one over the old one.

That's because the author of the tennis manga that wiped out the dinosaurs is redoing it with his own art while keeping the story the same. There's still the original version ongoing, though it's not nearly as pretty.

Hey Great Handsome Oppressor can you give an example of how it tightens up the story? Like, does it shorten the Greed Island or Insect arcs?

Well, it's not exactly shorter, just paced better in my opinion, save for the Hunter Exam arc (this one was strangely slow and dragged on compared to the manga).
But for instance, they put the whole "Gon meeting Kite" thing on hold and only talk about it at the very beginning of the Chimera Ants arc (which is ongoing). Another thing, Ponzu and Pokkle (the bee user and the guy with the nen bow and arrows) actually go to NGL together to hunt the Chimera Ants instead of meeting there, which lets them discuss the backstory together instead of having the narrator do it. Yet another thing, they added the (official, from the HxH character guidebook) backstory for Canary in the anime.

So, it's still quite slow, but after the Tower of Heaven arc, each episode is satisfying in the pace they use to treat the original material. However, they couldn't make some things work in the anime, such as Uvogin vs Shadow Beasts (because of all the in-fight blahblah that only works in manga) and Bonolenov's powers. These are the two things that stand out as unsatisfying to me, along with the censoring.
I'd say overall Tower of Heaven was the part I enjoyed the least (even though dat climax), and the York Shin City Auction was the part I enjoyed the most. The Chimera Ants arc is also shaping out to be great.

I decided to power marathon though Aikatsu because even though it aired for a full year it's getting another season for Fall's lineup.

Now read the manga, but take your time because it's not going to update anytime soon.
