The latest chapter of Blue Exorcist was pretty good. I love how at the end Mephisto just gets straight to the point with no screwing around: "Take this team and go rescue Izumo who was just kidnapped like two minutes ago." No chapter or two of BS training or whining, just going right away to kick some booty and save someone's booty as well.

Oh I just finished watching that. Is the manga more expansive or does the movie cover it? I haven't seen the movie yet

I haven't seen the movie either, just the anime. The manga is more expansive by virtue of it being the original iteration of the series and it's pretty good. If you're interested in the manga, the publisher (Viz) has digital volumes for sale on their site that are cheaper than the paperback volumes.

It's so good.

It follows the anime up until Rin goes insane and attacks Amaimon and blows his cover to his friends. After that, the anime picked up a few more details from the manga, but split off completely. Expect a lot of character development, team building, and a pretty good arc. Things have gone back a bit to building up a new arc before launching into it, but it's looking pretty daisies good.

Just watched episode 23 of Attack on Titan

I've been meaning to catch up to the Attack on Titan manga before I catch up to the anime. I just hate that my best bet on getting the manga is through buying physical copies online and waiting for them to get here.

I'll have to catch up on satan manga then. I've recently started watching Reborn and god is Tsuna is fucking painful to watch.

He'll get better. In like 200 chapters.

I usually prefer watching the anime instead of the manga, unless it's like, vastly different or something.
Like how Majin Tantei was, it was completely different from the manga and was actually a lot worse.

Then 150 episodes or so. He won't stay whiny forever but it'll be quite a while.

I'm about 200 pages in with Berserk and I've lost count on the number of deaths already.

You mean cannonfodder deaths or non-cannonfodder deaths?

The line gets blurred. Just death remains.

I consider non-cannonfodder anyone whose name got mentioned at some point. I do the same for Attack on Titan.
