Oh that one.
That is quite possibly the best thing Moffat ever wrote for Doctor Who.

One of the best 2 part episodes in the new series, imo.

Those two episodes were actually the first episodes of Doctor Who that I watched.

First one I saw was Blink. My friend showed it to me. She wanted to see me jump, I guess.

Steven Moffat's stuff was all fantastic before he became head writer. Now it's... silly.

SPOILERS for series 7.

Quote:
Matt Smith in a recent interview has said the following hint about the final end of Ponds: “There’s something coming up in the final days of the Ponds that was in The Eleventh Hour,” he said. “There’s a shot in that. [Moffat's] been thinking about it that long. He always knew how she was going to… I’m saying too much already.”

So yeah, if you didn't know, Amy and Rory are leaving the show in the middle of Series 7.

What could have been in The Eleventh Hour?

The duck pond that hasn't got any ducks?
The re-use of Mrs. Angelo's broach in The Eleventh Hour and The Big Bang? pic (my vote is for this one)
One of little Amy's artwork which clearly shows her house on fire?
The fact that Rory (in the hospital scenes) looks behind him, clearly sees something and gets interrupted and quickly forgets (the Silence?)

Also, remember the Silurian and the human lesbian couple from Victorian London? They are returning next season. Apparently the Silurian has a crush on the Doctor's new companion.

Also, Caroline John has passed away. She was Liz Shaw, one of the Doctor's best companions ever. Srsly. She was that awesome scientist girl who acted with Jon Pertwee in 1970. She was 71.

Quote:
Matt Smith may have hinted that the classic monsters, the Ice Warriors, will be returning.
Rumours of the classic villains return to the new series have been going on since the new era of Doctor Who began in 2005. but now, after 38 years, it looks like the Ice Warriors will be returning to the show.
Organiser Sean Harry at 'The 11th Hour Convention' asked Matt 'Ice Warriors are one of the last classic monsters not to make a return to 'Doctor Who', Matt replied ''yes'' and turned to the audience and smiled broadly and knowingly at them before adding ''that's good to know, next question,'' leaving fans in hysterics.
Last week, it was reported, that Mark Gatiss (The Unquiet Dead, The Idiots Lantern, Victory of the Daleks, Night Terrors) had wrote the episode featuring the Ice Warriors as well as new companion - Jenna Louise Coleman.

BBC y u do dis

"Hey, who turned out the lights?"

Quoting this because it happened yet again

BBC America if you're going to air only one Doctor Who episode a day, couldn't you at LEAST play the second part of a continued episode the day after you air the first part? Sheesh.

Ha, awesome!

Also, the dinosaur and western episodes looks like they're gonna be great. I can't wait for this season any mooooore!

In other news, I really wish that the 9th doctor (Christopher Eccleston) had stayed around for at least one more season. I loved his take on the doctor.

Eccleston is easily my favorite out of the 4 Doctor's I've seen so far (1, 10 and 11 being the others)

Eccelston was a good doctor, he just didn't stick around long enough to actually make an impact. They say you never forget your first doctor, but really, Tennent seems to want that spot in my head.
