But this is different.

It's ominous.

I like him as well, but then again, I like pretty much everyone on that show.

Agreed, Fuzznut. It really impresses me when an anime in general has a good stable of likable characters.

Finished the tag watch of yugioh 5Ds

My beefs;
142 episodes in till Leo became a signer? Should have happened during the Demak duel. Aki got nerfed to hell in season 2, she was so much cooler in season 1. Why did Sherry get a chance to live even though she was a mega bitch? Also all the canon ships got sunk in the final episode, what cocks :U

Overall, I liked this show, pretty much one of the best card game centric shows I've watched. And even when not bound by merchandise, pretty good especially in season 1.

The only character I didn't like or pity was Amshel, and that was to be expected considering he'sthe actual antagonist.

Correctly guessed Isshin's old squad, his real name isn't too much of a surprise, but the whole Asauchi thing still has me confused. How old is this Squad 0 guy?

so me and a bud made jokes about doing a Yugioh Zexal drinking game. So we decided to watch 2 episodes to scope it out and the results were... whoa...

Rule for these 2 episodes;
1) Drink every time someone says "Kattobing"
2) Drink every time they say "Numbers"

episode one would have caused 19 drinks to be had
episode two resulted in a total of 33 drinks.

That's 52 drinks in the scope of 2 episodes. Holy shit, we'd be dead if we did this challenge for real :psyduck:

Also Zexal is shit.

Maybe Zanpakuto are a more recent creation than we've believed.

We know that at the very least, Yamamoto's was around back when they had conflict with Bach, so probably about 2,000 years?

Also, I'm guessing this will make Isshin a cousin to Kaien, Kukaku, and Ganju, or maybe an uncle or something?

Also, I love his interaction with Rangiku and Toshiro, though this makes them staying in the world of the living a bit... weird during the Arrancar arc, especially when you'd think soul society would have tried to keep tabs on Isshin just in case, and given their background, I'd think they'd want to see him unless they're afraid he can't see them or something?

Isshin has always been very careful about who sees him. And with his powers gone/reduced at the time he would effectively be ignored by most. The question remains about how many people were in on Isshin's disappearance. They may have known but kept silent to protect him. The Asauchi thing confuses me. I thought powerful Shinigami created their own Zanpakutos like Ichigo, and weaker ones got Asauchi given to them. Then I thought that the first part was true, but that an Asauchi could be given to somebody as sort of a training aid. Give them a blank sword so they can skip the manifestation part of the training, sort of like Urahara's Bankai doll. But now he says that everyone is supposed to be given one of these things. Which means that Yamamoto would indeed have to have been given an Asauchi which this guy invented. I was willing to buy the fact that these Five were powerful, but this guys seems ridiculous. Perhaps the Quincy will be revealed to have been the original swordsmiths for Shinigami. Thus revealing the grisly backstory behind the war and how Ichigo was able to manifest his own.
