It starts off INCREDIBLY SILLY, but gradually mellows out into a typical Gundam series.

The Bawoo is great. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it and not in a battle where Gotton just takes it with his posse from the Endra.


They are great characters and super entertaining, they are just awful bad guys who can't do anything.

Not with (what looks like) a moe schoolgirl heroine designed to pander to otaku, they aren't.

I don't think you know what moe is.

The fact that she's glaring and not going to go hide in a corner and weep pretty much gets rid of the moeness.

Because hes really the protagonist of the show. Watch it till the end and tell me otherwise.

Still, I think it's good to remain skeptical of any action anime whose main character is a schoolgirl.

As opposed to an anime with a schoolboy protag?

I mean, don't get me wrong, pulling a gender swap on the protag doesn't exactly make it novel or any less cliche, but I'm not sure it's exactly fair to come down on an action series because female lead, especially on the basis of a 16 second clip that barely shows her and is covered in moonrunes.

I know that was almost entirely in japanese but there were a couple of things that popped up in roman runes that you might want to google before saying silly things

Trigger is already saving anime with Inferno Cop.

Tallgeese is the only cool MS in wing so far, IMO.

It's not about a female lead, Kamak. It's about the fact that it's a character dressed like, or one that actually is, a Japanese schoolgirl, seifuku and everything.

In other news, I'm watching Last Exile. This is like Eureka 7 with 90% less overall stupidity.
