Is it possible to give Bolin enough screentime?

You forgot that it was lacking in definite consequences for character's actions. Seriously, the only thing that I can think of that stayed the same and wasn't fixed up by Avatar Magic was when Tarrlok Killed himself and Amon.

Well they only wrote it as 12 episodes and nick ordered a bunch more afterwards so I suppose that's to be expected.

They're going to need a HELL of a writing team to dig Korra out of the hole that Bryke set up.

Because the first season is pretty much the most infuriatingly average thing I've ever seen.

Get some other writers in there.

I liked how there weren't really any filler episodes. But...yeah get a variety of writers in there.

What entertainment are you exposed to that makes you so jaded? I want some of that.

I am pretty daisies confused about what all they'll do next. Like, the last episode of Korra felt the end of the series.

Allthough from what I saw from Book 2 Korra uses her Avatar state to fuck around. Like when she uses it to beat the Airbender kids at an air scooter race. And since the books element is "spirit" I assume she'll have to learn more about what it means to be the avatar and to respect it more and whatnot

I feel like the rise of technology, the abandonment of old codes, and the use of spirit bending has woken something up. Maybe the face stealer will make another appearance.

Okay so I finished reading The Promise Trilogy.
Overall it was good. Interesting story and ideas.

But Aang kept pissing me off The four nations must be divided to keep balance? Really Aang, you're going to go with that?
I didn't like Toph's students
And the ending was really abrupt. But perhaps they'll continue it a little more in The Search.

But like I said, overall it was good.

Hopefully it will pick up where it left off and Korra will actually focus on equal rights for non-benders at some point. If they just try to sweep the whole equal rights thing under the rug without some sort of solid conclusion/compromise I will be rustled off.

I with ya, Burnt. I thought the whole 'you're our Avatar too' bit was gonna be important. Should have been. I was very disappointed with the first season because it wasn't.

Was there ever an actual issue? Or did Amon create it? Tarlok was certainly a dick to nonbenders and convinced his fellow council members to follow him, but he's hardly a great example of a good bender. Were non Bender rights ever threatened? Or were thugs with bending abilities simply more frightening than the thugs without? I certainly felt for the benders who apparently slave away for low wages throwing lightning into a bucket.
