I had seen a volume of Attack on Titan on sale at the bookstore I go to and had ignored it. Should I go back there and get it sometime soon?

Kinda odd to realize I'm only watching K anymore because of pretty much everything except for the main characters themselves.

What's this we're going to be spending some time with Kenpachi and Unohana? Fuck yes I like these characters. Especially now that it's been revealed Unohana is the former Kenpachi.

Technically both, depending on how you view it. I figured they all died to be relieved of their positions, but perhaps it's possible to step down from it. I'm guessing some of the other Captains in Exile are going to be called in as well.

Well, for Squad 11, it's generally the trend that the Kenpachi has to be killed to be replaced. I wonder, however, what her story is (though my mind surmises that she took over Squad 4 after what's his face left for Squad 0). This would really explain why Squad 11 is so scared of her though. She was a former Kenpachi and lived to tell of it.

Also makes me wonder if Aizen made sure she was in Hueco Mundo when he invaded Karakura Town so that she'd be forced to heal the casualties by the time she came back.

Take note, no one has ever stuck around to try a fight against Unohana, but lots of people have attempted to kill Zaraki, Ichigo, Byakuya, the Captain Commander, etc. All the foolhardy idiots in the Bleach Universe, and not one person has so much as pointed a sword in her direction.

Even Aizen chose to flee from her when he fucking took down Hitsugaya in one shot.

Probably doesn't help that he realized she was able to see through his illusions, which at that point, was mostly the only ace he had up his sleeve.

I'm just loving how much things are falling into place. Bleach meanders the fuck around and gets drawn out on shit, but it's these things that snap into place that make me enjoy this series.

Ehhh, I still maintain that Aizen's "puppetmaster of absolutely everything" and the final fight with him was a giant asspull.

After hearing that Tite had a massive amount of editor influence on drawing the fuck out of the Hueco Mundo arc, I'm kinda seeing some parts of it a bit better. I think because of it being drawn out, and because of notes of trying to make every goddamn character "useful" a lot of the impact of Aizen was lost. Didn't really help when things like Fura came out of nowhere to explain things, which coincided with Tite saying he sometimes goes back to read past chapters to get ideas for writer's block (which of course, opens up fans to use that as the definitive "reason" for anything they don't like cropping up)

But I still maintain that the biggest problem with the whole Deicide thing was that Aizen completely discarded using Kyoka Suigetsu, the MAIN thing Ichigo was supposed to be able to deal with, for stupid booty butterfly bullshit powerup.

Though, Deicide was a mixed back of fuck you and dog shit anyways, so...
