So a friend got me reading Yamada and the 7 Witches.

It's like Kampfer all over again, but weirdly enjoyable.

Is it bad when you enjoy a mild-harem, blatant fanservice manga for the "mystery" plot?

And I don't trust Muramiya or Shiraishi (since she knew she had the power and that Yamada copied it, despite "never having facebattled before" and "accidentally facebattling him when they fell". I smell something fishy going on.)

she throws some service in here and there, but it's hardly the main draw of the mango
unlike kampfer

but yoshikawa's great, also check out yankee-kun if you like yamada
fun fact: if you couldn't tell from the faces she draws, she used to be hiro mashima's assistant

The facebattling focal-ness of the series is what got me, but yeah, it's not as much "Oh man, panty shots every 3 panels" as some things can get.

I've heard good things about Yankee-kun, so I'll have to give that a shot when I can.

I think I like the MSG movies better than the series now that I've actually sat down and watched them all. I'll probably wait a few days or so before I start up Zeta.

There was this anime I saw a few years ago that's been plaguing me recently. I can only remember that a good section of it was in a huge, ancient castle floating in the sky; inhabited by robots with flora and birds in them.

it was weird, but awesome.

It's got a major fustercluck of a plot and is pretty much where I learned the definition of yandere.

Kind of meh though.
