This species forms a small tree up to 12 metres in height and 10 metres in width. The deep PANK flowers are produced on year-old or older growth, including the trunk in late spring (cauliflory). The leaves appear shortly after the first flowers, which are poisonous when consumed by Time Lords, emerge. These are heart-shaped with a blunt apex, which occasionally has a shallow notch at the tip. The tree produces long flat pods that hang vertically.

Okay I laughed.

This is going to sound like blasphemy to most... but there's a method to the madness.

I'm really hoping the Christmas Special does well, because it's written by Moffat and other writers as a unit. Which means Moffat's horrible writing might not be all over it. However, I do hope Series 7 fails in every aspect. I hope after the premiere that the only people at the end of it who think "WOW WHAT A GREAT EPISODE" are the children because anyone over the age of 12 knows every single episode of Series 5 and 6 were was too easily predictable of what would happen next (albeit, one or two). Even the globally loved "The Doctor's Wife" was sort of wonky because they reveal right at the start of the episode in the cold open that Idris was having the TARDIS Matrix deposited inside of her. So when The Doctor finally "clicked it together" it was like, "We've known that for the past 25 minutes. You should've worked it out in 5." It really made him look stupid in my opinion.

Anyway, back to point. I hope only kids will think the premiere is good but anyone with an intellectual mind will finally realize "Well... that's... uninspired?" as it has been for the past two Series'. And then the ratings decline over the course of the Series from there because of it. I know this sounds like I want the show to fail, but that's not the case. I want Series 7 to fail because Moffat as a showrunner isn't good for the show, period. Amy Pond constantly being "center stage" and the "title character" of the show every episode isn't good for the show, period. The Doctor having to be pushed to the side and turned into nothing more than a plot device to keep Amy Pond's adventures turning isn't good for the show, period. Not to mention all these ridiculous "OMG THEY DIED JUST THERE. DID YOU SEE THAT? OMG... LOL JK THEY'RE FINE." death scenes. It's really making every character turn into a live action MARVEL/DC comic book character. Why? "No character ever stays dead. They always come back, unfortunately. No death is impactful anymore." Doctor Who is suffering from that problem.

Third point why the show is becoming terrible slowly? River Song.

tl;dr - I want Series 7 to steadily fail so BBC finally gets sense enough to replace Moffat with a more competent writer/showrunner. Also, less stupid River Song.

Yeah, Moffat has absolutely no subtlety, and favors his characters over previously established norms of the series.

What annoys me the most is he's completely written The Doctor into a corner in terms of previous continuity. He's had him mention things that completely contradict the last Ten Doctors' worth of continuity, not to mention he almost always refuses to reference past events too. Rose/Martha/Donna/Wilfred's very important travels are always dodged when he's asked about them by Amy/Rory, or he answers the questions with the exact opposite answers that are the truth. And then chalks it up to "The Doctor lies". What the hell? The Doctor has NEVER lied before until now. Why the hell would you add that? So you can try to hide the fact that your plot ideas suck absolute booty and you need to keep whatever amount of "oh my god is this true!?" energy you have left in the show?

I really hope Moffat gets fired. But the show has too many easily brainwashed fans now globally that it won't happen until Moffat comes down with a serious illness that prevents him from working or gets caught sexually assaulting a crew member and gets forcefully fired.

It's disappointing.

Thing is, I came in just before "Let's Kill Hitler" and I still don't like Moffat. He's really only good for thinking up weird time-complex situations, but characters are absolute shit.

Moffat isn't good for "long term" situations. "Short term" single episodes or two parters he's relatively fine. Why he got promoted to begin with still boggles my mind. After two Series that have been somewhat criticized for it's childish-like storylines and blatant obvious answers I'm surprised BBC higher ups haven't said "Maybe we should get you help." It just feels like Moffat is stretching just to find ideas for Doctor Who that are coherent and logical what with having to deal with Sherlock on top of Who.

He either needs to find a partner to step in and think long term while he does short term or just step down entirely. I just have this gut wrenching feeling that sooner than later people are going to finally open their eyes and see he's really not doing as good of a job as they first thought he was. It was their own hype and the ridiculous personality of Smith's portrayal that has them hooked. The Doctor could be standing in one place doing absurd things like dancing, trying to balance a penny on his nose or punch walls with a "RAWR" face and it'd be entertaining but it would be just as complicated as the show's predictable storylines are right now.

11 is getting a little too silly for my taste, I love quirky, but I think the character is being over exaggerated.
I mean, bowties are cool? I dig it. Fezzes are cool? eh, ok. Stetsons are cool? yes, but that's getting stale now.
Moffat's episodes still have quality to them, but right now I feel there's been a severe lack of true excellence, which were mostly made by his one offs before becoming show runner.

Blink? Fantastic
Series five? Ehh, it was really obvious, but then again, there's the whole "Stephen Moffat MASTER OF SUBTLETY" thing happening.
In Series six it's easier to name the good episodes than the stinkers. (The Girl who Waited was phenomenally done, actually)

It's been circling for years and years, but it's been drudged up from the lagoon one more time recently with an apparent Director finally set.

Horrible trainwreck incoming.

That's my first name in it. It's really simple because I used Nick and not Nicholas, but when you get into entire sentences it gets really cool and complicated looking.
