Thinking about watching G Gundam

G Gundam was pretty cool, but it's a lot different than the more traditional gundams. Some of the gundams (which all represent a county once the tournament arc finally starts) are great while others are hilarious. For example, the ever classic Windmill Gundam of Neo-Holland.

Yeah, I've got the design manual for G-Gundam. Some designs are great. Others... not so much.


So I've seen all the episodes of Soul Eater now.

What the hell was that ending?

I don't know why these mangas/animes use megavillains with god-like powers if they're gonna come up with a dumbass way of defeating them like that - and why did Asura need to break character and start acting all fucktarded like that?

I like the series a lot - and I think all the characters are super excellent - and I would recommend the series to everyone - but in the end it was just another underwhelming anime ending that showed that the author didn't really have a whole lot to say.

At least it resisted the anime fallback and didn't go into yet another preachy final monologue about the importance of 'friendship'; God I hate it when animes do that.

BONES is really bad at writing endings...seriously. I've pretty much gotten to where I don't expect a good ending out of anything BONES makes - the animation and music etc are so wonderful though.

OH NO, Zorinth ran out of animu to watch that isn't in the current season, what do?

Anyone got a good anime or 2 to watch that is finished?


Also watching 3 current season anime right now at least, there are a few decent ones this time around.

Also if you haven't yet, just go and watch/read Rurouni Kenshin and Yu Yu Hakusho.

I stopped reading HxH part way into the poorly drawn giant bug arc. I heard it lasted forever as well. I just kinda got bored of the manga looking like I drew it, not somebody with actual skill.

General consensus my booty, that arc was pure shit PERIOD. (I miss Greed Island now...)

I liked the rat guy from the election arc more than pretty much everyone in the chimera ant arc.

That shit was "Are they still on Namek?" personified.

Bah! Pariston can just take a long walk off a short pier...
I liked Cheadle (Jade Harley) Yorkshire much more.

Chimera Ants arc was great. It just seemed to drag on because of the multiple hiatus.

Hm, I really didn't find it too long. I also thought it was well-written and full of great characters.

Yeah, I know it was long, but I didn't find it too long. I dunno, I didn't find it to be dragging on unnecessarily. I thought the pace was good.
