I actually just watched through all of Kuragehime last night.
It is the greatest.
Time to read the manga.

Most animu DVDs - ranging from 3-4 episodes - will be around $25, that sounds about right.

Not from my experience. Most of the DVD sets I've seen were about $30 for a season. Yes, I've seen the ludicrously expensive tiny sets before, but I didn't think that was the norm.

Were the cheap sets really popular titles? I am willing to bet the expensive ones were the widely well-recieved titles (Evangelion, etc).

If not, man, animu price must've gone down since I last bought from the store (which has been, admittedly, several years). I wonder if it's a reflection of the decline of the Western animu industry.

I guess you're right. I was looking at some past popular titles (Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist, Trigun, hell even Gurren Lagann) and they were all at a pretty low price compared to Princess Jellyfish and the like.
But still, that's a little jarring. I know I'd never pay that much for animu, no matter how much I liked it.

I think I got the entire collection of Outlaw Star for like 40 bucks.

I looked up the price of .hack//sign once....it was like $100. Haven't checked in a while though. -checks- Oh look it when down....to $70.

what im sad about in brotherhood is they cut out so much in the beginning. you lost a lot of roy and his team, and ed and roy.

A Rock Lee anime? I CANNOT GIVE THEM MY cheddar FAST ENOUGH. He and Guy are the only characters that deserve their own series out of Naruto and friends.

You're almost a week late bro. And how would it get cancelled and not replaced?

Chances are, they're axing it after the Xcution arc ends so they don't have to go through 3-4 more filler arcs during the last arc. I can easily see them making a sequel anime like Inuyasha to finish off the series once the manga is close to ending.

I can't say I disliked the show, but it needed to die.
