I have no problem with a Charlie Brown anime. Square Enix made a Peanuts videogame and it was very faithful. Japan loves Peanuts for some odd reason. I'm pretty sure that the anime will be good.

Studio Madhouse also created RedLine. I think they'll be able to do a faithful version of Peanuts.

I don't see how RedLine gives any indication of doing a faithful Peanuts anime. And honestly? Peanuts is boring as hell, I wouldn't want it to stick to being faithful because it's just a depressing strip about how Charlie Brown can't do anything right and everyone hates him for it.

I think it'll probably be a very faithful adaptation, animation-wise if nothing else.

Madhouse is excellent at creating anime with the perfect feel for the series. I trust them with this project.
