Is there some kind of "witness protection" program set in place for student wizards/witches who unintentionally witness acts of horrible dark magic? You'd think they would given the amount of it happening in the school. I mean hell, in Harry Potter, there Halloweeny shit was pretty much an annual tradition, they had some sort of defense against it. Teachers roaming the halls, restrictions on where people can go, magical wards set in place on the students quarters...you know, what anyone would expect out of any respectable boarding school plagued by evil.

Considering this school apparently has a few "accidents" and "disappearances" each year, I wouldn't say that student safety is something heavily invested in.
