You should give Metamorphosis a try too. It's free on project gutenberg if you like ebooks

I've actually already read and done a report on the Metamorphosis, which I agree is really fantastic

From my Goodreads Review:

Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, in an attempt to broaden the mind of Karl Pilkington, send An Idiot Abroad to the 7 Man-made Wonders of the World. From his opinion on exotic cuisine, to his fascination with the bizarre and deformed, to his experiences with locals, Karl's Pilkington's An Idiot Abroad is invaluable both as a travel guide and an insight into Karl's strange, little mind.

I finished reading Fine Structure today. It's a free book written by Sam Hughes. It has loads of science (physics) in it, in a way that's really interesting. Definitely one of the smartest books I've ever read.

The author plans on one day rewriting it, because apparently some people had difficulty comprehending some of the more subtle hints, but I found it a good story regardless. It's a free download, if you scroll down you can simply pick one of the compilations of all the separate chapters.

Has anyone else read a novel called Thirteen Reasons Why? I found it randomly in high school and read the entire thing in one stretch. It was very emotionally draining.

I've also read this, I actully quite enjoyed it thought the emotional hoops it put you though.

The scarryest part for me was that I actully understood everything the girl went though, since I went thought the same stuff myself. Especially the part where she is talking to the guidance counsellor, I felt so utterly frustrated and hurt because I was basically told the same thing.

On another note I finished Elsewhere a while ago, I think I can honestly say I did not enjoy reading it.

Yeah, I read it when I was ten and I really liked it at the time.

Reflecting back on it it seems kind of lame now, maybe I should reread it.

How in the Seven's names do you go from 'Clash of Kings' to anything but 'A Storm of Swords'?

Well so far I've kept pace with the TV Show

Started reading The Name of the Wind the other day.
I am amazed that I'm halfway through it already, and disappointed I haven't gotten farther yet. It's a really good book.
