So I saw Sherlock Holmes yesterday with my whole family plus my Grandma, who is a HUGE Sherlock Holmes fan. She loved it, and I liked it as well. Not sure what to say about it, though.

I'm not too sure whether to see that or not. :/ I read a review and they said it's not very good, but I am a Sherlock Holmes fan so meh.

Yesterday I went to see Avatar - it was great. The effects were the best I've seen and it all looked so life - like in 3d.

lol@drag me to hell. My auntie was saying how I should watch it as some parts of it are 'funny'. Glad I didn't watch it as I'm really bad at watching scary movies. It's ok if it's in a house or whatever, but when it's on a big cinema screams and it jumps at you arfgh.

Yesterday we watched The Brothers Grimm on TV. Man. The gingerbread man. Oh god the gingerbread man
There was a guy in the movie saying right after that scene "I just crapped my pants." I nearly did too. People without faces OH GOD WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY

I hated that movie so much. That gingerbread man was the crowning moment of awful for me. While watching it, my thoughts were something like this:

"Okay, so that blob is absorbing that kid's face or something, that's actually kind of interesting, especially considering how sucky the rest of the mov- WAIT WHAT DID THE BLOB JUST TURN INTO THE GINGERBREAD MAN HOW DOES THAT EVEN BEGIN TO MAKE SENSE? MOVIE HOW ON EARTH DID YOU MAKE THE CONNECTION BETWEEN FACE EATING BLOBS AND GINGERBREAD!?"

The rest of the movie was horrible, too. The special effects were terrible, the plot was dumb, and the fairy tale references were really, really forced.

It is probably the worst movie I have ever seen. Ever.

I saw it today, and I'm inclined to agree.

Well on an afterthought the mud thing turning into the gingerbread man is stupid, but at that moment I was more creeped out by the whole scene, I never was so close on bodaciously crapping myself.

Anyways, in my opinion the movie wasn't that bad, because the movie was designed to instill horror/terror/fright then simply going by the flowery fairy tale stuff. I can actually imagine that the stories were originally horror stories, but made pretty later.
But there are two things I have to admit though, first I didn't like it that everything was connected with each other, and the end was a little bit too crowded with things happening.
And the second thing is, I was playing PSP meanwhile, so I didn't catch everything :>

But the Gingerbread man scene. Man, the horror, the horror

A lot of girls I know get wet for Johnny Depp, it's not even funny.

The reason it becomes Film of the Year is because of lots of people going to the film just to see him

I don't see what girls see in him. :T

(Then again, he is a filthy swashbuckling pirate to me)

I hope I'm not the only one seriously looking forward to the new Alice in Wonderland.

And he's easy on the eyes, too. But don't tell anybody I said that.

I don't have anything against him, only the fangirls. I think he does a good job and I am saying that and I am not a girl.
