Once again heading to Graspop Metal Meeting this year. If you see any lesser known names on the linked poster that you think I should check out, let me know.

The ones that jump out at me are Tremonti, Upon A Burning Body, and Butcher Babies.

I'd extremely recommend Exodus if I had actually managed to see them at the festival last month. I love Exodus so much, but the singer that's with them now is the one I don't like so I don't know if they sound at all like I think they should.

I don't know what your exact preferences are, but Tremonti is an amazing guitarist and you shouldn't have any trouble getting up close to see him.

By the way, I've been looking for Upon A Burning Body since the festival; I had forgotten their name. So thanks for that.

Just bought Within Temptation's Hydra album.
Been a long time since I last went into a music store and bought a CD.
Liking the songs so far. I tend to be pretty restrictive of myself buying CDs in case I don't actually end up liking the songs.

Anyone find that there's daytime music and then there's nighttime music? Actually probably a lot of people, now that I think about it.
I used to listen to .clipping at night but some of the "white noise" stuff gets pretty overbearing. Flight Facilities is always thumbs-up-emojihad for daytime listening, so thats neato burrito.

Not a serious Lamb of God fan, but their new album is pretty good.

I'm super addicted to Life is Strange's OST right now. Which is weird considering my tastes usually favour harder, faster sound rather then the slower, easier songs LiS has on offer. But this stuff is nice and serene, perfect to unwind after a busy day.
Then again, my musical tastes are about as inconsistent as they get.

Hey, mine too!
I like pretty much anything, with some exceptions.
I'm not one for death metal or anything with screaming vocals. Or Rapping.
Though I do like some rap.
Also the lyrics can affect how much I like a song, like if I love the melody of a song and suddenly BARRAGE OF SWEARING I nope right away from it.

What kind of rap do you like? Classic stuff like A Tribe Called Quest? Or maybe the more alternate offerings such as Nerdcore and Pirate rap?

Well the main point being I only like 'some.' Some being a very little number. :p
I like Eminem, I also like various songs from The World Ends With You. (J-Rap?) Like Ooparts.
Also Black Tar from Xenoblade X.

I bodaciously do not know any variations of rap music.

Some of my favourite genres are Power Metal, Celtic, Epic (Like powerful orchestras).
But if I showed you the music on my iPod it'd just be a whole bunch of stuff.
DragonForce, Celine Dion, My Chemical Romance, Peter Crowley, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Nobuo Uematsu, Britney Spears, All Time Low, John Denver, Nightwish, Scatman John, Sarah Brightman, Gorillaz and Sonata Arctica.

These are just some of the artists I listen to but you can see how different they all are. :p

You ought to give MC Frontalot a try, you might like it. Also Nujabes perhaps, but that's more Hip-Hop then anything else.

My current music library is a jolly mix of: AC/DC, Anamanaguchi, Arctic Monkeys, Ben Prunty, Big Giant Circles, Cage the Elephant, Gorillaz, I fight Dragons, Jonathan Coulton, The Kooks, Korpiklaani, Metallica, MC Frontalot, Modest Mouse, Motorhead, The Naked and Famous, Nightwish, Nirvana, Nujabes, The Offspring, Different OC Remix albums, The Pixies, The Protomen, Queen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sabaton, Sawano Hiroyuki, The Smashing Pumpkins, The Smiths, Snow Patrol, Stereo Alchemy, The Strokes, System of a Down, Turesias, Wolfmother, and The White Stripes. And that's just part of it all.

The only thing tying it all together is the fact that it's music. Also there's a lot of videogame stuff and stuff used in videogames in there.
