I think that Tim Burton's Chocolate Factory is pretty good. I like it and I have seen the first movie, read the books and I am also Norwegian.

If that's the case then why would he say he liked it twice in the same sentence?

He said he liked it, then said it was cool, that doesn't mean it was good. It means he thought it was good, fine but I was really asking if the general public said it was good.
