For the past three weeks I've read 3 books, all in which are Terry Pratchett.

I'm really burning thouh these things.

Currently reading The Killing Kind- John Connolly. It's really good, but it annoys me a bit that I can't read the books in order. Library doesn't have all of them, so we have to ask them to borrow from other libraries and they can't do more than a book or two at a time. Aside from that, I think he might be my new favourite author.

just read John Dies At The End, it's not perfect, but i quite liked it. reading Kitchen Confidential now, it's interesting. it's a nice look into the restauranting world.

I finished The Lost Gate by Orson Scott Card Games on Motorcycles and it was good. It was like 75% narration for the first half which was weird. Now I'm reading The Horns of Ruin by Tim Akers and it's okay. Steampunk isn't really my preferred fantasy setting but I'll wait until I finish it to make an impression.

I was thinking about reading game of thrones is it any good?

Depends on if you can handle every character you love dying. No one is safe.

George was slaughtering legions of characters long before Hussie even put out his first strip. And he hasn't stopped.

Someone told me it's worth paying for Netflix just to watch the Game of Thrones series. I imagine the books must be amazing.

It's the second book we have to read in my literature class. I'm not done yet, but so far it's interesting, though I can't say I get the message (if there's one). It's about two black guys living in Montreal, trying to get as many girls as possible. One of them is a buddhist-muslim sleeping guru who believes Freud invented jazz, and the other one (the main character) is a writer. The writing style is special and there are random excerpts from the Quran or other sources in every other page, and about half of the book is the main character explaining how having sex with white girls redefines social order and stuff. It's weird but very well written and hilarious.
