Fartbending. The fuck?

Also looking forward to the finale. Was inevitable that Korra would have to take Amon's technique, now we need to see how she'll be able to break it.

Remember that Energybending is reliant on the willpower of the persons involved, Aang nearly got overtaken by Ozai when he attempted it. If Amon makes an attempt Korra will probably give him a punch to the spiritual dick with sheer force of mind.

On an unrelated topic, I like that Asami isn't treating Korra any differently due to all this relationship drama. Shows some serious maturity on her part. Mako can get boned though, and not in the good way.

Might be bad in the long run though. If Asami keeps this all bottled up from Korra and just being snarky to Mako she could eventually explode and do something stupid.

Which I could see happening next week.

Presumably there were other Sky Bison chilling out somewhere. Just had to look hard enough.

The Spirit Bending technique that Amon uses on Benders is relatively simple. He blinds the third eye. The Bending isn't gone, they simply cannot perceive their element anymore. I imagine it's quite fixable. The creators even mention that Combustion Man had an overdeveloped third eye. And how did Sokka defeat him?

...Huh

That may be the single most brilliant theory I've heard yet.

I believe it was said before that Aang managed to find a wild herd of Sky Bison sometime between the series.

Turns out that Appa was a female the whole time and Momo is the father.

Also, I had a theory similar to that one before. Except it has more to do with shutting down the part of the brain responsible for bending.

The third eye is likely a Chakra point that becomes "permanently" blocked byAmon. The only reason people can't get their bending back is because they don't know how to unblock the Chakra point.

However, that doesn't explain How Amon can resist Bloodbending.

Unless he's some kind of robot.

Considering he might have the ability to block the flow of chi in others, who's to say he couldn't block it in himself? It's roughly the same principle; keep the energy that allows bending out of the body.

Willpower doesn't mean much when your blood is being moved against your will.
