Oh, Sonic, they just won't let you die, will they?

Yeah, but most of the demand for Sonic I've seen in recent years has been in regards to games and comic books. Cartoons? I'm not sure. Sonic X still reruns on Saturday mornings on a 4Kids-run network, but I'm not sure how much that gets in regards to ratings numbers.

sonic cartoons have never been the biggest things but they've never really done badly either?

the one that did the worst i think was sonic underground and that

well this can only be better than that

Sonic Underground was pretty horrible but tbh I didn't like Sonic X either. From the looks of it this new show will be the first Sonic cartoon to use full CG though.

Sonic somehow seems to perpetuate an ongoing fanbase, though I don't know how well a (new) Sonic cartoon show will be met by today's viewing youngsters/fans.

I just hope it doesn't fuck up Archie's 'Sonic Universe' run because in the past their sister Sonic title focused on Sonic X* when it was airing on TV - and I'd hate to see the original 'Sonic Universe' stories dropped by Archie in favour of trying to cash in on this new show with a title based off of it.

*Archie's Sonic X stories were a travesty.

Weren't the Sonic X comics like, notorious for being edgy, shippy messes of "what can we throw at the wall and make stick?" plots?

Like, "Oh no, cream has a terminal disease and it's given Knuckles PTSD" bullshit?

They're actually not at all like that.

Also in other news the Samurai Jack comic book gets its first issue this month, so be on the lookout for it. It's gonna be a 5-issue run, just so y'all know. I'd love for it to be an ongoing, though.

That new episode of RWBY: God, do they even check these episodes for errors? Some of the Audio was out of sync, numerous clipping issues... I want to like this series, but they really need some more people dedicated to fixing those flaws.

Yeah, that was pretty distracting. Hopefully it's fixed next episode.

New episode of RWBY was about what I expected.

Jaune and Pyrrha are totally gonna start making the kissy faces soon.

That was pretty good. I'm glad they made it so that Jaune couldn't win the fight all by himself. It really drove home the fact that he has much more to learn.
