It's a Disney princess movie.

Of course there are musical numbers.

I saw The Princess and the Frog last weekend, and I loved it! With any luck, I'll see it again when my Grandma comes to visit me in a few days...

Also, here are the songs from the movie, they're all awesome!

I'm partial to Gonna Take You There, myself.

Friends on the Other Side is great too.

I really want to see The Princess and the Frog. I'm a sucker for traditional animation, and the music sounds like it's gonna be awesome.

However, don't see Bruno. Even though it had a bigger budget than Borat, Borat was better. Bruno was too much nasty and not enough funny.

(Posters for Bruno were notably absent in Austria when I went there this summer. France, however... they sure love their naked men in advertisements)

Yeah, The Princess and the Frog was not as bad as I thought it'd be, quite the contrary. I recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet.

I'm not sure if I want to see The Princess And The Frog (wth germany, why did you translate it to 'facebattle the frog'), sure I like Disney cartoons, but... I dunno.
But what I do know is, that I will see Avatar in 3D when we are back. Well, I hope it's available in 3D, never heard that in a TV ad. Well, even if not it's still better at the cinema where I live now, all cinemas around here are small.

The entire point of Avatar is for it to be in 3D. It's pushing technology. It's more than just a "pop out of the screen every so often to show off how amazing 3D technology is" movie. It entirely 3D because that's the way humans see the world, so why can't they watch movies like they're really seeing into another room beyond the screen? That's exactly what Avatar in 3D does. It's like you're looking through a window into another room, rather than watching moving pictures on a flat screen. It's absolutely beautiful and immersive, though sorefull at times because of camera vs eye focus.

Point is, I love Avatar. I want to see it again. <3
Everyone should watch it at least once in 3D on the big screen. It's a once in a lifetime experience. Only huge tv screens can reproduce the humonguous detail of the movie on a theatre screen, and not everyone has access to one.

Tatzel, don't tell me all movies are dubbed there too
Dubbing anything other than cartoons is automatically bad

All the movies are dubbed here. I don't know why it's so bad, we got good voice actors here. If it was subbed, that would be annoying. Best solution is in Poland, my grandparents recieve polish TV here, and all the movies feature one voice actor only. Yes, that's right. One male voice actor for everything, be it a child, a woman, an animal... it's always the same guy. And his monotonus voice, lovely. But the newer movies are dubbed now, not very good, but thousand times better then this guy.

Also, watch it on an IMAX if there's one close by. I saw it at the one in Reading, it was absolutely phenomenal.

Meh, not really. And even if they were better, the translations themselves would still ruin the dubs. There's a lot of things that just can't be translated well, no matter how good you are.
