I was a bit skeptic at first but once I watched a few episodes and got into the shows mythology and humor, it became awesome

So at first I thought this was just another "lol so fahnee randomosity xD" Disney show but then I actually sat down and watched a couple of episodes.

I think I need to watch this from the very beginning. The two episodes I saw were the (serious spoiler here, not sure how far into the show it is) "Gideon steals the deed to the Mystery Shack and Stan puts all three journals together" episodes

Season 2 has aired 2 episodes so far. They were awesome.

The season opener:
-Grunkle Stan tells Dipper that he knows about all the weird stuff that goes on in Gravity Falls, but doesn't tell him about the Stargate underneath the Mystery Shack. Stan also secretly made photocopies of the journal's contents so he could give Dipper's back while working on the Stargate.
-The journals have hidden text in invisible ink that only shows up under UV light, enabling Dipper to get more discoveries.
-The government knows that there are secrets. The main secret agent guy is played by Nick Offerman, and he does a fantastic job.
-Oh yeah, and Grunkle Stan is a badass zombie killer who genuinely cares about Mabel and Dipper. He's not a bad guy, he just wants to uncover the secrets of that portal for... Whatever it is.

Episode 2:
-Wendy and Dipper romantic tensions get resolved: Dipper fully understands that he's just friends with Wendy, but Mabel presses him to confess. Over the course of the episode he finally does. Wendy says that she knew all along, she could easily hear him mutter under his breath and finally tells him that she's too old for them. Dipper and Wendy are good friends, even if there will be a little awkwardness between them.
-The author of the journals left behind an old old laptop in his fallout shelter. Soos is going to fix it up.
-The author also created the equipment to control/study the portal.

I'm excited for the next ep.

Episode 3 was awesome.

We will never forget you or your sacrifice, Big Henry;_;7

In other news, the next two episodes are set to come out all the way in September. Disney either has a really good reason for scheduling the show the way it has been, or they hate it.

I'm not sure they care about any of their shows, they probably just love cheddar and try to air their most profitable shows more. Why Gravity Falls isn't more profitable in their eyes I will never know, it's the most quality show on the network by a long shot.

Goddamnit, no new episodes til September. I hate it when the fall schedules slots out like this, Family Guy does it too

Triangle Bill is one of the most unnerving character I've seen. Here, have an ALWAYS SCREAMING HEAD.

I suspect Dipper can still salvage something from the laptop. Bill only stepped on it once to break it, so there's a possibility that the memory drive might have survived, right? He also smashed it before it erased the data, so he might have prevented that as well. Either way, Bill Cipher is quite a dick.

Bill Cypher is going to be trouble, I can tell you that much. Also, I hope they do more with the laptop, seems like a red herring otherwise
